The hotel is close to downtown Las Vegas and there is a good shuttle bus to the Strip, the bus to the airport stops at the corner of the street. Staying at Howard Johnson's allowed us to stay within our budget, and to be a 5 minute drive from the hotel where all of our events were.   From the moment I walked in to the reception the staff just smiled and was super-friendly. Got help when i neede to make phonecalls and I was able to do a very late check-out.
