Deb was the night manager. We had talked to her the night before so she
could charge the room to my husband's credit card, as he was not
accompanying me on the trip. When I arrived, she greeted me warmly...and
the paperwork had already been completed. I appreciated the ease of
checking in. -
The room was comfy cozy and the shower was relaxing :)

The people at the Front Desk were beyond respectful. The beds were so
comfortable, and the room was very cozy. The Television is not perfect
resolution, but to have a nice size flat screen in the room was a bonus.

During our stay, we ended up going to The Lounge. Heather, the manager, did a fantastic job! She made sure we always had what we needed and was very professional and very nice. My husband and I both were very impressed with her and said if we ever needed to stay at a hotel in Grand Rapids again, we would stay at this hotel. -

Staff went out of their way to assist us with some unexpected needs and were very accommodating with changes that made things easier for us. Manager wrote letter detailing our situation that eased circumstances outside the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming as well as accommodating requests. When walking into the lobby, we noticed the clean scent and everything was very tidy. -

We had the 2 bedroom suite. We loved that it was 2 levels and the kids could be upstairs with their own bathroom. The suite was as nicer than some apartments, I've lived in. I loved the full kitchen. It was a big help during our 1 week stay for feeding our 2 and 3 year old. They had a decent breakfast every morning with good hours and offered food

Very friendly staff. Very accomodating to my every need. They went the extra distance to ensure that l could get to my meetings on time.
The cleaning person for my room was by far the nicest and most thorough cleaner that I have had in my travels

We didn't get a chance to explore the facilities, but the room was pretty decent. I liked that there were to doors, you could park outside your door to enter the room but you also had access through the hotel so you have to go outside in order to get to the front desk. -

My husband and I stayed at the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids the night of our wedding and the day after as well. When we checked into our room, we had a bottle of champagne, food and a nice card from the staff waiting for us. The service was superb and exactly what we anticipated. We will definitely stay there again!!! -

We traveled with our family for Grandson's Hoop Shoot Competition. The hotel was very full. The pool/ waterslide is small but our grandson's enjoyed it. On Saturday, the slide doesn't open till 3:00 but since there were so many kids there (due to the hoop shoot guests), they opened the slide at 1:00. Even though they are getting ready to remod

This property was recommended to me by several people I know; I was glad when I heeded their advice.
I was highly impressed with the interior quality (our room, bathroom, main lobby, etc). I did not utilize any facilities other than main lobby and breakfast, so I cannot speak to that.

A truly enjoyable experience. We arrived at 11:30am for a 3pm check-in and were able to get a room (with a river view) right away. The room was clean and so comfortable. There were plenty of towels, extra pillows and blankets right in the room. The location is perfect for an evening downtown and parking is convenient. Or never leave the hotel

Located right in the middle of downtown Grand Rapids and withing walking distance of museums, Van Andel Arena, and Devos Place to name a few...using the skywalk ajoining most of these made walking nice during the cold weather.
