  From the outside, this doesn't look like a place for an older single woman to stay, but I've stayed at other hotels in Ft. Stockton and been kept awake by people coming and going, partying, and by a/c units that cycle on and off so loudly that I'm awakened every time. Best, the - The price was great and everything was clean, felt safe, etc. I'm glad I didn't stay in Midland like I had originally planned -- I couldn't find anything affordable that didn't look scary / filthy in the reviews. This one was exactly right for me coming out of the airport and giving me a stopping point on my way down to Big Bend at night. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful and answered the door promptly even though I checked out late at night and left early in the morning!
