Upon checking in we discovered that the air-conditioning unit was broken in our room ~ I contacted the front desk and they sent their maintenance man "Jesus" (I hope I've spelt that right!) to fix it ~ he had the unit out and a new one put in within 20 minutes! Thank you Jesus for saving the day! You have a wonderful employee in him :)

Basic room and clean. Nice lobby area that was decorated nicely for Christmas. Could tell staff cared about the hotel. Breakfast area clean and stocked with basic breakfast. -

There was an error when I booked online and they were supposed to
provide a room with a King, but by the time I got there, the front desk
person apologized and had already upgraded me to a suite. The room was
great! And I loved the fitness room. It was small, but it had all of the
tools that I use. It was perfect for me. -

I stayed on 9/23/13 Rm. 117 for less than $65.00, booked online. The building was older and oddly built, possible a remodel but the rooms were staggered which made them quiet as my room did not adjoin another room on the sides. Inn is a great place to rest and relax. In spite of the modest rate, you

Two recent stays at this Northeast Nevada landmark property, which has been newly remodeled and beautifully upgraded, both the casino and rooms. Food quality and value, entertainment, and guest service are very good, too. Stay at Stockmen's next time you're in Elko. It'll be your new old favorite! -

My wife and I travel from Yuba City CA, to Riverton Wyo. and spend the night in Elko as half way point both ways, The gold country Inn has been a great place to stay. Service is great, rooms are large and clean, rooms have real glassware and cups instead of paper cups.
