  The rooms were very large, and the bathrooms must have been recently renovated. Breakfast at the Inn had great food, great service, and was very reasonably priced. The wait staff was very helpful and answered our questions about the Inn and where to get apple cider donuts. My room which was in the Captain's cottage (#20) was a suite on the second floor and was very spacious with a deck with a water view. I loved the old feel to the place as well.

  The Greenporter is a retro styled hotel and works very well as exactly that. It doesn't pretend to be a luxury hotel and doesn't charge as one. We liked it a lot. It also has an extremely good chef, my wife rated one of the dishes she ate as the best she'd ever eaten, and she is not given to overstatement. I would comfortably recommend it to anyone, but would also suggest they don't use Hoppy's Cl - The room its own AC unit and fridge both essential during the hot spell. The cleaning staff were thorough and extremely helpful. Swimming pool small but nice and very quiet. The hotel is ideally located for walking into the town which has an abundance of nice bars and restaurants.
