  We had an excellent time at Colonial Gables. The view from the room + terrasse was stunning, the garden great, the beech lovely, and the two ladies running the place more than helpful. Belfast is very pleasant, and thebplace is also well located for trips to Acadia, Maine town and villages, lakes ... and a great local lobster pond. The cottages are more beautiful than the motel (and some of them recently renovated), but we loved our tim - Upon arriving to Colonial Gables, Mary was very friendly and welcoming, and upgraded us to a cottage at no charge! The grounds were beautiful, and the location is very nice, close to downtown Belfast and on the way to Acadia. Plus, having Pap J's next door for a delicious dinner was a big plus. Greta also provided great food recommendations in town.

  The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. They had a resturant that we didn't get to visit but have in the past and we liked it then. Pool was clean and the breakfast was more than expected and kept us satisfied for the good part of the day. We had to leave a day earlier than we had booked and the front desk was more than accomodating an... ce que les gens disent » d adjusted our fee. I will go back to this hotel when we return to the area. - The location was five minutes or less from town. Even though it was a December visit, the scenery was beautiful, we had the bay view. The hotel gets 5 stars from me...friendly, helpful staff, decent variety for the free breakfast, not to mention the great little restaurant in the hotel!
