I was stuck at the Airport due to bad weather. I looked for a cheap but
clean room to stay in and came across this hotel. It was the 6th lowest
priced room shown, but was first room in a hotel not motel. The
description was vague by saying only that it was a 1 King bed suite. I
was blown away when I opened the door to what should have a 1 bedroom

The room was huge and great pool and balcony kitchenette was nice too. Right in downtown Palm Springs across the street from a casino and less than a block from the shuttle stop for Coachella Music Fest which we were there for. Free parking is nice also along with luggage carts in the parking garage.

I have stayed here before, and the property is right in the core of the downtown action. I was able to walk to a great restaurant ( Roscoe's ) across the street, Starbucks was 2 doors down, the pool was clean and the room was fine- I used it for sleeping, not entertaining the elite -

The Staff was friendly to me. However, the property needs improvements and I do believe they are doing it room by room. As a guest in a hotel, we need to respect the properties and not tear them down like we are animals this will make any money they spend on repairs and improvements worthwhile and then we can all enjoy them! -

We have had a great room om the 2nd floor overlooking the mountains in the back. The owners were very nice people and made us feel home. One of the owners even walk with us to the room and helped with our bags, very friendly!

We really enjoyed staying at the Travel Lodge in Palm Springs. The hotel
was very clean and comfortable. The pool was heated and very clean. The
hotel management were very accommodating and friendly! I would defiantly
return. The price was very reasonable and the hotel was close by to
everything. Good experience!

This is our 3rd stay. Front Desk Manager Vivek is always very customer service oriented. He remembers us. Hotel has a great location with a little liquor store around the corner, which is good if you want to get a morning coffee. Hotel is a short distance from downtown Palm Springs, but away from the noise. Room is big and clean. Bathroom is remodeled, all white with a window.

During our stay we were astounded by the level of respect and friendly
service of the staff at the Vagabond Inn in Palm Springs. The front desk
was exceptionally helpful with fulfilling our needs and requests, while
the room was extremely comfortable and clean; not to mention that the

Red Lion is new ownership and good things are happening. was another Franchise that apparently did not do well and Red Lion came in is making it a much cleaner and better place. I will stay there again... certainly checking out for the budget minded traveler... -
