Upon arrival we were offered wine, chocolate chip cookies, lemon water and cheese scones (free!). The rooms were decorated Victorian style with individual flair and attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms clean and nice. The food was delicious and the bakery offered an overwhelming amount of mouth watering baked goods. M

I always stay at San Luis Inn when I stay in SLO. Best value and location for the money. Quiet and no train sounds!!
The girl at the front desk is very nice, and the cleaning staff is friendly (without being too "nosy" or "pushy" about housekeeping like some hotels.) Rooms are always clean, and they have nice new TV's in some of the rooms.
Good area between Cal Poly campus and downtown, and it's RIGHT NEXT to the two late-night restaurants. Can't go wrong

We got a very good deal on letsbookhotel.com so it was really worth staying there (the price was as for a "motel 6-type" room but the room was better than an average "motel 6-type" of room).
In our room it was relatively quiet, despite the motorway nearby (though I suspect that some rooms might indeed be a bit more noisy but rather not too much).

Decent value for money.
Loved the location as it was close to the edge of town so peaceful, though that might. Not suit everyone.
Room decor was a bit dated but the bed was comfy and the room was spacious.
Breakfast was adequate but the lack of a designated breakfast room was a let down.

the staff was very friendly and made it possible for us to check-in early. The pool and jacuzzi were a nice size and not crowded. Cookies and coffee served in the evenings and a pretty good breakfast served in the mornings. -

Sycamore Springs is a great place to relax, enjoy peace and quiet, or go to the beach or shopping. There are trails, the labyrinth, the mineral spring tubs and a wonderful spa. EVerything is spread out and situated so that you feel that you're at a small intimate place.

we got a great discount for this motel on the bluffs overlooking the ocean. many of the rooms have fantastic views. our room did not but it still beckoned us to stay awhile. we only stayed one night cuz we were headed to San Diego. next time i plan to get a room with a view and stay awhile. room was clean, real mugs for morning coffee, comfortable

My boyfriend and I have stayed at several Pismo Beach hotels so we wanted to give this one a try. This hotel was ok, friendly staff and great location and just a few exits on the freeway to downtown restaurants and shops.

It was good value for money, relatively clean and comfortable and nicely located off the 101 and near the sea. The highway noise didn't bother us but it is close, so if you a light sleeper it may. -

We arrived in hotel, but terribly!!! knew that I mistaken with days when booked a room. I booked on a week before and no rooms were free in this day. Payment was charged a week before and at that moment I thought that it was in advance. BUT Hotel returned our money despite it was my mistake. It' s great! Thanks.

1) Amazing view! Sits on a cliff overlooking the coastline
2) Gazebo area is an amazing area for pictures and to take in the views of the pier on the left and the rocky cliffs on the right
3) Staff was very friendly, I was not happy with the partial ocean view room so after a few room changes we settled in with a very nice view
4) Continental breakfast is actually a decent breakfast - bread eggs pancakes juices coffee danish etc.
5) Great place to go with family or as a couple.
