  Awesome stay! Very clean! Everything from the food to the staff and the rooms were perfect. The manager was so helpful as I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with an intimate dinner. He arranged to get me a table cloth, candles, gave us free complimentary drinks, set me up with a flower shop, and helped me with dinner arrangements for our room. Struck up conversations with staff that make a personal touch in the restaurant. Asian meal was healthy: rice, seaweed, kimchi, miso soup...   La propreté des lieux le personnel tres bien serviable et attentionné - It's not easy finding reasonably affordable yet good-quality self-catering accommodation in New York City, but this was perfect! As a young woman travelling by myself, I felt I had to keep my wits about me on the street, but everything was fine (just be sure to use commonsen... ce que les gens disent » se). The train station is very close, and the local grocery store is only around the block. It's not the wealthiest area, but it's obviously a family area. I was immensely impressed with the chap who carried my heavy bag up - This is a good alternative to staying in downtown Manhattan. Coming from a small UK town the area was a bit of a culture shock. Spacious appartment with everything you need for a short stay. Subway stop just around the corner so easy to get downtown in 15 to 20 mins. You can also walk to the Guggenheim in a similar time. A couple of nice restaurants nearby and a supermarket if you want to eat in.
