Fairfield was neat and clean. Pool was good and breakfast was fantastic. Price was right too. Unfortunately we stayed there on our return trip from MN. It was a bit of a let down after staying at the Courtyard Marriot next door on our way up which although costlier exceeded our expectations.

It is a great hotel in the middle the action on a typical weekend in Madison with the farmers' market, shopping on State Street and bars and restaurants.
Even though they had not had my reservation on file, they were able to book me into one of their rooms on one of the busiest weekends in Madison after I showed them proof of the reservation. -

It was close to the hospital and we liked the shuttle service to the hospital. We liked the dining room and the staff that worked in the dining room. The breakfasts were great. We liked the staff at the front desk. The free popcorn after 3:30 PM was also a plus. -

We were two mothers and two teen daughters visiting colleges. Very convenient to downtown Madison and the University. Huge room - very unexpected - including a pull out sofa, fridge, microwave & sink area. Very clean and comfortable. "Happy Hour" snacks and drinks as well as breakfast included. -

I brought my oldest sister there for a birthday get away. I lived in

Wisconsin as a license Social Worker and moved back to Milwaukee in 2004
to help care for my mother who was very sick and I had 1 good year with

The manager checked us in and upon hearing it was our one year wedding anniversary, gave us a free bottle of champagne. We also got vouchers for the casino down the road. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the blankets were awesome! The breakfast was good Nd had a good variety. We actually had decent size real coffee cups in the room. The pool wasn't huge but it was spacious enough and warm. The hot tub which was right next to the pool was large enough for numerous people. I
