The backyard and frontyard are gorgeous. We were able to sit outside and relax often. The location is also pretty good. Less than a minute drive to a bank and ice creamery. There is also a cute convience store and alcohol store less than a walk away. The owner is also great. He was able to give us directions to the best route up the cape. We basically got to see everything we needed to see because of his directions! No gps needed. The breakfast is also delicious. We did not want to leave this p

Such a beautiful and well-preserved historic beauty, inside and out! The staff was so gracious, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were homecooked and delicious; there were snacks available all day long. Owner had given much thought to little details that made my stay so pleasant. I could walk around a beautiful old neighborhood and one block to the "T" and feel safe and peaceful. I definitely will stay there again.

We absolutely enjoyed our 3 nights stay at Thorncroft Inn. It was quite a peaceful and relaxing experience. I am personally very picky about hotels /inns to the point I usually bring sheets and towels. To my surprise, I felt so comfortable with the feeling of cleanliness that I did not have to use them. The service was exceptional. Kudos to Lynn and Carl!

Boston's best kept secret! We loved this hotel. Our room was large and immaculately decorated with a beautiful view over the harbour from our balcony. The hotel is small only 10 bedrooms and you eat your breakfast in your bedroom unusual but we really liked it! We would really recommend this hotel!

Excellent experience, had two rooms as were traveling with my mother. From the gracious and welcoming host, to outstanding rooms and amenities, to the house Labs, Molly and Ginger. The location is perfect, the harbor and monument views spectacular, and the cozy fireplaces in our rooms made the chilly late fall weather almost enjoyable. This was a third stay here, and certainly will not be our last.
