Comfortable, well-appointed rooms - really vary in size, but the public areas more than compensate for the smaller rooms if you get one. The owners are wonderful and welcoming and helpful. The inn is very
cute, comfortable and recently renovated. The grounds are immaculate. It
is a 5 minute walk to Nauset Beach. Its nice to be down Beach Road and
away from busy route 6. Breakfast of fruit, yogurt and pastries was
fresh and tasty. Totally recommend. The price is very fair for what you
get. The prices that gross motels in the area charge is a crime,
don't go there.

The views of downtown Boston from the B&B are fabulous. The location
is great - close to the t stop making Boston very accessible and near a
great running trail and kiddie playground. Fabulous food - cookies at 4,

The owners, Maggie and Joey, were very personable and accomodating as we
have 2 young children (ages 2 and 4). -
Lovely old property in a very pretty spot, accessible by public
transport from Boston ( the bus drops you off right outside). The view
is also stunning. Magpie is a wonderful host, attentive without being
overbearing and the food is excellent. She is also very good at giving
full and detailed information on how to get to the B&B in advance. I
would definitely recommend this to anyone.

We stayed there for 2 nights. It was a great experience. We felt this hotel has a very special athmosphere.
At our arrival the hotel owners came out of the hotel to welcome us and to help us to park our car (it is bit less space to park the car right at the hotel, but this wasn't really an issue)
The Benchmark Inn is a small hotel with just a few rooms. Everything was clean. The room has a lot little extras.
The European style breackfast was exellent.

I loved this hotel, friendly helpful, staff, room and bathroom well equipped, light and airy, tasteful furnishings. Fab comfy bed, good breakfast. Loved veranda with plenty of chairs to sit and look at the ocean. Only stayed one night due to touring area but could happily stay for a week!!

Great location! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Vessa gave us lots of great tips on sights and restaurants and Nancy directed us to a variety of amazing hiking trails. Our favorite was the hike to the Great Rock Beach. The room was comfortable (thank you for the upgrade!) and the beds were very cozy. Great breakfast, excellent coffee and very yummy afternoon cookies. We hope to return "same time next year."
