I liked every aspect of this hotel. The rooms were beautiful and felt comfortable. The showers are huge and everything is well taken care of. I like the personal feel of this hotel; since there are only 16 total rooms the innkeepers are there whenever needed. The breakfast is outstanding; homemade quiche is one of a kind. The location is exactly what we hoped for; literally walking distance to everything we wanted to see. This hotel had excellent reviews when I booked it and it far exceeded my .
all reviews » I loved the location and the B&B style. Being right in the center of the Riverwalk center; we felt like we were miles away once we walked in the front door of the Vista. The breakfast was perfect, cookies and wine at 5. Best weekend get-away ever!! Our room was beautiful and very clean. Check-in was incredibly friendly and welcoming!. The room was excellent, our room was upgraded to a king, free of charge. Our window overlooked the nice view of the city with the river walk right across the street. Breakfast was great not your usual prepackaged fare. The hotel is decorated with antique quilts and memorobilia. This location is right in the heart of San Antonio. Due to that, I can be on The Riverwalk, The Alamo, mall, or if driving to local golf courses or shopping in minutes. Large rooms with large windows. Nice bathrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Ambience, nice staff, small size, riverwalk location. Great atmosphere, great location, wonderful staff. Everything. There was nothing I didn't like!. During breakfast there were several occasions when I noticed that guests were not sure how to use the hot water dispenser. The hostess was not readily available to assist. Once we figured it out, we helped other guests. This is very minor and would not stop me from recommending the Vista. City construction made it difficult to get to the hotel. The city noise was loud but the hotel had special windows to help with the noise. The city traffic can be loud so if you are a very light sleeper, you might hear cars from time to time. I had no issues sleeping after busy days. Breakfast doesn't start until 8 am and my meetings started at 7:30 am at the convention center. Air condition was noisy and smelt dusty Design whilst quirky was a bit dowdy. Noise outside the hotel and people That hang around the front of the building. Road noise outside. too much street noise, a/c unit very loud, ceiling fan made noise. No amenities at the hotel other than room for breakfast.
