  I thought the hotel was beautiful, if I stay there again I'd try to upgrade to a balcony room. It was summer so the area was off-season and very quiet. The pool was wonderful and the courtyard was a great place to sit and relax. - The main lobby's decor was very welcoming.   The room was charming, comforatble, and luxurious, in a separate 8 unit building at the rear of the complex, called the Mill House. It came with everything from a Keurig coffee maker to plush white bathrobes to be used after you hop out of the Jacuzzi tub, and a nice wide flat scree TV. It was finally a facility that had great lighting in the bath... what people say » room so I could shave and my wife could apply her make-up. The bed was very comfortable, with nice linens. Although we didn't have the time to make us - We have stayed at the GMI many times over the past ten years and have never failed to be pleased. The staff are friendly, particularly Jane at breakfast who is our GMI hero - our kids have grown up looking forward to seeing her cheery face. She always remembers us, our dogs, our stories. It's just like home from home and it's immaculately taken care of. We love our visits and are already working on our next one.

  The salt water pool my daughter loved! Room was clean. Dont judge a book by it's cover. It may be old but it was a place to lay our head at night affordably.   We stayed here for skiing and snowshoeing. 10 minute drive to Stowe Mountain and snowshoeing/hiking trails (could also have snowshoed right from the resort). Staff were very friendly and helpful.   I loved the fact that it felt like I went to my vacation home and not a hotel. I had all the cooking supplies right there. There was a ski shop in the basement. Great location to skiing. The shuttle was right there. The people were so cool.
