  This hotel is "top drawer" all the way! - The hotel was quite grand, and very luxerious in the common areas. The location worked well for us, as we seemed to be no more than a 10 minute cab ride from just about every where we went. The view from our Tower room was the clincher. We had a beautiful bay view.

  The decor, location were exceptional and even though the renovations weren't complete it didn't detract from our stay. The happy hour at reception was a great idea.   A nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It is very central, so perfect for visiting SF. you can go almost anywhere walking from the hotel. The bed was comfy, everything was clean so.. all ok. Since this was our honeymoon and we had mentioned that while booking, we found a bottle of sparkling wine and a greeting card from the whole hote... what people say » l staff in our room! so lovely! - Great designed and very original hotel with some different conceptual work inside. The room area was large enough. I loved the writings on the walls, the towels, and the lightning of the room.Ther e is even ironing table inside the room, very practical.   I absolutely LOVED everything! It was beautiful from the moment I first saw it, before I even walked inside. It was so easy to get to from BART and in a perfect location. The entire staff was sincerely friendly, kind, helpful and seemed to only know how to say "Yes, of course we can". The room was outstanding, clean, light, comfortable with a beau... what people say » tiful view. I will recommend staying there to all of my friends and family and I look forward to staying there again in the future. - location was good but if you go two blocks over it gets a little rough. wine and snack hour wasn't bad for free but in SF who wants to drink just decent wine? staff was very nice and value for big city hotel in decent location on a BUSY wknd was excellent.

  Firstly the location is great. You are right at the start of the cable car which you can take over to fisherman's wharf. Room had been updated sympathetically and although not large by US standards, you could definately swing a cat if that was your thing. The free WiFi was good and great for keeping in touch with home and getting those early morni... what people say » ng emails off. Don't try and video skype later in the day though. - Such a great location and great welcome from staff - it is the little touches like happy hour free drink and light breakfasts for all guests that make this place so special . For a solo traveller the opportunity to say hi to other guests and have some company at the end of a business day makes me a repeat visitor from NZ
