  Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was so much better than I expected, better than most hotels I have stayed at in New York for less the half the price. It was great to be so close to Chelsea, East Village, West Village and Greenwich village. I will definately stay there again on my next visit! - Excellent.   The room was recently updated, comfortable and clean, non-smoking. Free internet connection, convenient phone, desk are for work. MOST IMPORTANT is that I accidentally left an important item when I checked out. Three days later I was on a return trip near the motel so I stopped to see if my item had been found. I was pleasantly surprised and thankful, and give them high marks for honesty. - The room was well appointed, and met our needs adequately. A weekend away to cross border shop, and a short drive down to East Aurora. Bob Evans &Cracker Barrel nearby is a bonus. The beds were comfortable, and the quietness, being located close to the Thruway was much appreciated. We had concerns the hum of the road might have been an annoyance, but this was not a problem. We would definitely return to this location. Especially if the good rates are available.

Hotel - The Motel 6 Lake George is right in the center of town and you can easily walk to anywhere in the village. We never had to worry about parking. The facilities were clean, simple, and had everything we needed. It is also pet friendly so it was perfect for our small dog. It's was not the cheapest hotel in town, but definitely wasn't the most expensive and was definitely worth the little bit more that you pay.   Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. We were there for only one night on our way to NYC. This was perfect for a one night stay. Btw beaches are a short drive away. Shops are across the street - The bed was very comfortable. The water pressure of the shower was nice and the water was extremely hot.
