The staff was was very friendly and efficient. The Hotel rooms were alittle small Yet comfortable and most importantly the room was clean andThe showers were wonderful. CLOSE TO JFK, STAFF HELPFUL IN GIVING DIRECTIONS & ADVICE. HOTEL HELPS YOU WHEN YOU FORGET SOMETHING LIKE TOOTHBRUSH, TOOTHPASTE ETC. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. POSITIVE. Good location for Airport, good size of room and pleasant/helpful staff.

The citrus flavoured soap, shampoo and body lotion. Close to airport, price. the bed. It is near to the airport and having free shuttle service to the airport and the hotel. The breakfast was good and there is nothong to complain about. It was close to the Airport and the free pickup service to and from the airport were important to me. The room was a Smoking room and the smell initially was unpleasant. I was not informed that there would be a charge for my pet to stay until I arrived.View to the street not so good. the decor. Well I thought that the walls leading to the rooms could use a paint job, It just didn't look that fresh to me. It is an older hotel that could be kept up a little better. It is ok for a very short stay like one or two nights. very far from midtown. Location, no bathroom sleeper, Window AC was not airtight hence air was coming through AC window side. No variety in the breakfast. some staff not courteous. Bedding (sheets, comforter, etc.) was not clean. Felt bedspread looked a little grubby, but rest of room seemed ok.Good bathroom. I stayed in a room on the ground floor near the main lobby. It was so noisy most of the day. basement rooms are not very convenient due to outside noise, but for one-night stay it was not important. the room service is always late. we stayed in a smoking room and it wasn't that nice. difficult to get to and was quite dingy and dirty. My room was in the 1st floor and the window was open all the time without security features. The street is so close and with a little fence anybody can jump and enter to the room easily. Really, I don't sleep good by that situation. I go to the front desk and the guy tell me that the law prohibits to close the windows but he did't change me the room for a higher floor.we waited 45 min for the shuttle to come and pick us from JFK airport but shuttle never arrived and then we had to go ourself. very poor service. it was a seedy hotel with less than friendly staff. Didnt feel extremely safe there.Faulty toilet. Said it was dog friendly but didn't mention on website that it would charge for a dog -- we were charged an extra $50 for our dog. Very run down hotel, clock didn't work, didn't get the alarm call we requested, AC is very noisy, "breakfast" was minimal. It was very noisy and not from outside but inside. Staff and guests moving round outside the room. Very loud bathroom noises. Pick up from jfk was not convenient and late, had to call twice.Departure from hotel, shuttle was late 30 minutes. Unfriendly staff andrefused to assist guests with lagguge and other things even with Tip!!! Worst hospitality ever experienced. Definitely not more than a onestar motel.The room was filthy dirty, so many small insects biting from all over, shower drain was clogged, room carpet was just so dirty if one goes barefoot, it wouldn:t take long before your feet turns dirty black, hotel staffs are unprofessional.
