  We were a party of 2 couples with 2 rooms. When we checked in, we were told that they ran out of rooms with double queen beds, so both rooms were upgraded to suites at no extra charge. We certainly got off to a good start! Everyone at the hotel was always courteous and friendly and ready to help. The restaurant in the hotel is quite nice with good... what people say » food at reasonable prices. The view from our rooms was stunning. As the person who picked this hotel, I was glad that everyone in our party was happy - Stayed at the Atlantic Oceanside's downtown apartment in Bar Harbor, The Song of the Sea. It was perfect! Centrally located downtown with a beautiful view of the harbor and Bar Island, it was perfect for our family of 5. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living area was great and the washer and dryer was a added bonus. Decorated nicely, very clean and the parking spot two blocks away was great. Will only stay there on our next visit to the wonderful Bar Harbor/Acadia area!

  Hotel location was excellent. Motel is not modern buy very clean, spacious and bed very comfortable. We were lucky with the wheather in october. 24 C for 2 days. Because of the US Federal Shutdown, the Parks were closed but we decided to walk the beautiful trails up to Cadillac Mountain - 4 miles up and 4 miles down. Bathroom was well-stocked and functioned well. The free Wi-Fi was great and the motel is very easy walking distance to everything in downtown Bar Harbor.

  We had a two-bedroom cottage, and we were more than satisfied, beyond our expectations. It was HUGE and had everything we needed - even a washer and a dryer. It was impeccably clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and it was very conveniently located. Very central to excellent restaurants like Hugo's and Eventide. Also, excellent harbor views and close to harbor walking trails. Breakfast buffet included in room price was outstanding.

The room (cottage style), was a bit small, but sparkling clean, comfortable and with windows in front and back which provided plenty of light. Breakfast was also great with a variety of cereals, juice, fruit, toast, pastries, yogurt, etc. I would stay in this place again and again.

I would like to suggest that you ask folks to limit their time in the hot tub to 15 minutes unless no one is waiting to enjoy it as well.
