    Hotel location was excellent. Motel is not modern buy very clean, spacious and bed very comfortable. We were lucky with the wheather in october. 24 C for 2 days. Because of the US Federal Shutdown, the Parks were closed but we decided to walk the beautiful trails up to Cadillac Mountain - 4 miles up and 4 miles down. Bathroom was well-stocked and functioned well. The free Wi-Fi was great and the motel is very easy walking distance to everything in downtown Bar Harbor.

    The bedrooms are nice and big. The outside deck was large and comfortable to sit and watch the bay. The turkey dinner on Sunday was great.     From the moment Caroline welcomed us, we experienced the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere of the inn. Our room had a beautiful view and was perfect in every aspect (including the wine fridge). The Edgewater is close to town yet far enough away from the hustle and crowds.     Staff was very friendly and helpful when we had some minor issues. Cabin was clean and well-kept and the resort was attractive.     The ambieance of the facility, the very friendly and helpful staff. The view and value of the price for the room and wonderful breakfast that came with it.     The Inn is very quaint and quiet - beautiful surroundings. The people who run the inn are exceptionally nice, friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you. We will be making a return trip just for the pure pleasure of being there.

    A truly wonderful place! Planned to stay only for one night but extended it for 2 nights due to the great place, atmosphere, location, and people. Upon check-in Cynthia was very helpful and provided lots of information as to places to go, see, and eat. They have REAL non-smoking rooms (not like some motels that just cover up the smell). This was the best place I have sta - The Coast Village Inn was a great value for what you got which included a microwave and refrigerator and wireless access to the internet. For our visit, it was centrally located to the restaurants and places we wanted to see during our trip. The owner earned big points for helping us get tickets to see one of my favorite singers at The Saco River Theatre. In addition, he printed a map to the theatre for us. We would definitely stay at the Coast Village Inn again.
