  I stayed at Alaska Grizzly Lodge with my sister from Japan from Sep 21 to 26, 2013. I loved the lodge! The décor was very nice and I was able to feel Alaska everywhere in the lodge and I took a lot of pictures of the lodge and the 3 very friendly and well-mannered dogs! The room was very comfortable and very warm. The host, Anita was very nice an... what people say » d friendly. He made great breakfast every morning and egg casserole was my sister's favorite! She helped us open fresh salmon we got from Yukon River - My wife and I spent 3 most wonderful nights at lodge. We watched aurora borealis Three days in a row from my balcony. Amazing location! Anita, owner of the lodge, provides different but delicious breakfast every day. Since most of us did not bring enough clothes for standing under -20 F outdoors, she offered heavy coats and boots to make our surora viewing so enjoyable. Anita provides lots of advices that make our trip a lovely memory of life time.

  Drivers of vans were wonderful and extremely helpful. They were our only source of transportation. Breakfast was wonderful each and every day---ice cream in the evening was also truly appreciated. I chose this nHotel on the outskirts of town, formteh aurora, it had darker skies, and I saw them quite a few times!!   this motel was a pleasure to stay in, we were in one of the end rooms but the room and facilities made up for the lengthy walk to reception. The staff were great and the shuttle too and from town and the airport was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and reasonably priced.   The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked having a coffee maker, fridge and microwave in my room. The beds were very comfortable. I'm glad they offer smoking rooms. - My experience at the hotel was very good. The staff were very nice, polite and helpful. I would very highly recommend this hotel.

  Stayed here the last night before leaving Alaska. Great place to stay, nice room and close to the airport. They have a 24 hour shuttle which is great for traveling. - The staff is wonderful - friendly, helpful, actually go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. They actually know many of their customers names.

  We were able to get into our room several hours earlier than expected. Staff responded immediately when we needed more towels and the tv needed to be checked. We had an excellent stay there and the location was very convenient for shopping and sightseeing.   Staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. Asked them to make a 3 year old's night by getting us on the highest floor possible facing the airport runway. Clerk also comped our parking since there was in issue with our reservation. - Beds were really comfortable and rooms were quiet.
