  We stayed at the Courtyard on the last night of a 3-week trip to Alaska because it is convenient for Ted Stevens Airport and we were flying home next day. The airport shuttle runs to a schedule and has to be pre-booked but this works well and the driver is very helpful.   I stayed at Alaska Grizzly Lodge with my sister from Japan from Sep 21 to 26, 2013. I loved the lodge! The décor was very nice and I was able to feel Alaska everywhere in the lodge and I took a lot of pictures of the lodge and the 3 very friendly and well-mannered dogs! The room was very comfortable and very warm. The host, Anita was very nice an... what people say » d friendly. He made great breakfast every morning and egg casserole was my sister's favorite! She helped us open fresh salmon we got from Yukon River - My wife and I spent 3 most wonderful nights at lodge. We watched aurora borealis Three days in a row from my balcony. Amazing location! Anita, owner of the lodge, provides different but delicious breakfast every day. Since most of us did not bring enough clothes for standing under -20 F outdoors, she offered heavy coats and boots to make our surora viewing so enjoyable. Anita provides lots of advices that make our trip a lovely memory of life time.
