Newly refurbished room Excellent value for our purpose which was last night in nyc with early flight. Breakfast also excellent with good choice of food. Shuttle to the airport immediate and to the correct terminal. Overall a great experience and excellent value for the price . Thankyou. The hotel was a quick shuttle ride from the airport and the staff drove us right to our gate when we were leaving. They accommodated a late check out because our flight didn't leave until the late afternoon. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

With the earplugs, I've slept like a princess!. It is very closed to the JFKand for this reason location is good. The area is not safe, so we recomand to stay inside the hotel and to buy some meal to the 7 eleven or burger king... The breakfest is very good but during the day... Room wasn't fancy but was clean and comfortable. The staff was quite thoughtful, friendly and helpful. It was a very short stay overnight in between flights but I would definitely stay again. I was pleasantly surprised at the state of the facilities considering it was ranked a 2* hot. Very clean environment and very courteous staff I will definitely visit the hotel again. When we were taken back to the airport to get the correct shuttle, the other driver verified we were actually staying with them which would have saved a lot of trouble if the driver from the other hotel had done the same. Shuttle service requires the person to call the front desk when arriving at the Shuttle stop at jfk. They will then dispatch the shuttle. Other hotel shuttles where running continuously. A noise came from the computer thingy behind the TV (like a broken fan or such), I just turned off the power strip on the side and all was well. There was actually nothing negative except the required early check out (11 am) and this was only because I had 5.40 pm flight. The neighborhood was scary and it was by no means inexpensive after taxes. tight parking space. Hardly possible to completely avoid taking taxi when going back from Manhattan to the hotel in late evening. You can still make it to Jamaica and get accessible cab from there. nothing near by. room & bathroom could have been a bit bigger. The area was pretty bad although we encountered no trouble and felt safe inside the hotel itself. It wasn't ideal that Manhattan was so inaccessible (ie you had to get a cab tot eh tube [we didn;t dare to get the bus]) but i guess this hotel is mostly going to be for people going to airport which we were but we were lucky and had a good bit of time which we wanted to take advantage of. Too basic. The writeup said it was near Malls so I moved from the Hilton but it was the same amount in a taxi $18 each way as the Hilton was and no other way to get there. So it is not near a Mall. Also the people in the next room were very noisy and you could hear everything. The noise, our room was close to reception and we heard talking all night. The bathroom smelled of urine. Room is a little bit small and tight. Staff helpful but abrup. price is too much for under ground room,plus you do not have fixed prices,you negotiate prices. Not cheap, room in cellar, breakfast poor. Very Small, website display a bit deceiving. Asked for a "To Go" breakfast package and as a hotel you could not do that. The staff promised to give me a wake up call and didn't...resulting in my barely making the morning shuttle to the airport! Also, upon arrival, a staff member insisted that I hadn't made a reservation. He somehow couldn't find my name for a whole 15 minutes. This was very frustrating. Eventually he found my name, However, he never apologized to me for his over-sight. Location.Felt insecure in the parking lot.
