Excellent hotel for living. It was totally worth the money paid for and had excellent and friendly staff as well as hotel room was beautiful and loved the Location <3. For what I used the hotel for, it surpassed my expectations, the reviews I read are very harsh, this hotel is a place I plan on staying at again. Love the staff. Both Dorothy and Annette at the front desk were great girls, they went out of their way to help, the cleaning staff was superb and everyone is really friendly.

The shuttle service was fantastic and most welcome at a confusing airport, very prompt. No complaints about hotel breakfast was good to be included. We had a last minute flight cancellation and were forced to stay the night in nyc. We were looking for some place to sleep for a few hours and get on a early morning flight. It was the most reasonably priced hotel close to the airport. It had free shuttles to the airport too. I really liked the staff. Very friendly. And, a man named, I think his name was KK got someone to drive me on an early shuttle. Very helpful!. Breakfast was ok by American standards. Wifi worked well. My room this time looked onto a back parking lot area, where they store their garbage, not a site you want to look at for nine days, also I had to ask for a fridge this time-a bit of a shock as I was provided with one last time without the request, however thanks to the girls at the front desk one was provided to me right a way, but I had to keep using the lobby microwave, which was a bit of a pain, as a private one was provided with my last stay. Could not find anything. Lack of Information for tourist. No international electrical adapter in room or lobby (so if you have non-US electrical gadget E.G. Laptop, camera, mobile charger; you cannot operate.) Same breakfast everyday. No change in menu & very limited choice. Weak Wi Fi signal in room. Delay in pick up from Airport. I didn't like that it was by a high way but it sidewalks. The fact that the jacuzzi was out of order. Why have it in the room if it does not work, it takes up alot of space in the room. It was dated and the service could have been a bit better. the timings of check -in should be before 12 noon , as passengers who traveled in night like to check in before 12 Noon. Not as clean. They advertised a free shuttle to the airport. There were 8 of us including 4 seniors. Their 'shuttle' was a ride to the train to the airport, we wound up paying for a cab/van. I consider this false advertising reportable to the Better Business Bureau. Did not have Inn phone no. Did not know when shuttle would arrive Got ripped off by fake taxi for $50 (they said shuttle wasn't working). To be honest my first impression on arriving was OMG, what a dump, that was not helped by the black wall in the reception area, the dirty carpets and bits of beds and mattresses lying around the place on the way to my room. The place does not give a good first impression at all. rooms a bit on the shabby side. Seedy area, felt a little unsafe. Needs complete refit, old and tired accommodation . It was sort of far away from transportation. Maybe could have been cleaner, and it was hard for taxis to find the entrance. The room was very basic. Could not access internet in the room. Charged a $25 deposit and did not refund me - will have to take this further with my bank and they also charged me a $15 fee for shuttle back to the airport when they clearly state that they provide the service for free. The breakfast is not various.You have the same menu every day. Wi fi is too weak in the room, had to open the door to get the signal. Closet in the bathroom is too smal, like this is for junior closet. nothing. circumstances, no shopping, no restaurant around, location is lonely. Room is not so big. The pack of a mini fridge, the view of a bus yard from the window, out dated facility. Queens. breakfast can be improved with addition of boiled eggs or omelets Wi-Fi didn't work in the room--very poor reception--had to come down to the lobby to use it. a bit dirty and could have used a blanket. Never ran the wifi in the room. Just didn't feel clean. I was concerned about the carpet and the bedspread. Lighting was inadequate. Breakfast was sparce. NTR. I'm sure the hotel was nice in its day, however, the owners have taken money out without reinvesting enough of the money back into maintaining their property. There were broken tiles in the bathroom and everything is starting to look a bit dingy (carpet, paint, etc). Its always sad to watch people let their properties fall apart. It was nice enough and still fine for our purpose of an inexpensive place to sleep but it needs some tlc. The room was smelly (smelled kind of like an old folks home...like urine) and the bed was hard. Cockroaches running around, Shower taps installed wrong way so that when you turned on the hot water you got cold water. Generally very much run down and not worth the money we paid. The personnel who work there, they are uneducated, they mistreat to the tourists. It is too noisy. I spend one night and i couldnt fall to sleep until 3am. there were a lot of guest that were loud and slamming doors. Neighborhood was very concerning ... was afraid to leave my room ... Food was not as great as I remember .
