It is located literally 5 minutes away from the airport and as expected, the neighborhood is a bit industrial, with very little to do, so don't expect any views, but it is ideal for spending the night before a flight. By the way it was really quiet at night, no noise, so we had a good night rest. The room was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly and gave us great directions for returning the car. Their breakfast was at 4 am, which was really nice, since we had an early flight. Very n.

The room was updated, clean, comfortable, modern -- so much more than we expected for the price. As an older motel (still cute) we were surprised to enter a room that was so well updated for that price. Nice surprise. The breakfast in the morning was great, nice to have oatmeal. Also the staff were terrific. Great shuttle drivers, super fellow on the desk when we arrived near 1am. All around lovely experience. Highly recommended. After traveling on a bus 11 hours from Mexico, my husband and I arrived too late for opened restaurants. The night clerk saw that we did not go to bed hungry. Although dated, the room was clean. The bed linens smelled fresh like they had been dried outside on a clothesline. They had a courtesy bus to the airport--that was our initial reason for selecting this motel. Close proximity to airport as we flew I at 10pm and needed somewhere close by. Very good value for money and free breakfast! Large room with good air con as it was 114f! Also it had a swimming pool which was a bonus...but we didn't have time to use it. Helpful staff. Definitely recommend it as budget friendly and close to airport. Nice, clean and cool (good ac) room. Free transport from from the airport, but difficult to information of which bus to take, (there are many airport hotels). It was not one of the hotels on the infoboard with free telephone. Friendly staff at reception, even when arriving in the middle of the night. Small breakfast included. The attentive staff to details (I left my light on inside my car all night and as we were loading up to leave a staff person came over and let me know they help us if our car didn't start). The staff as we checked in was extremely helpful and willing to help with any of our needs. We felt safe and secure. we liked the closness to the airport, we enjoyed the pool, the staff at the front desk was very accomodating and helpful. we enjoyed your facility very much and will stay again. we did not use the shuttle to the airport ,but thought this was A great convenience. thanks for A great stay. We had an early flight so we decided to stay at the Econolodge due to its proximity to airport. Although dated, the room was clean and comfortable, plenty of hot water, free WiFi, and early continental breakfast made it a great place to spend the night. Price was very reasonable. The room was older, but well taken care of and clean. The front office staff were pleasant and business like. Even though location didn't seem to be in a "bad" area, it did have high walls surrounding it and active security cameras. Over all, a nice place at a reasonable price. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Plus, it was a delight to be able to smoke in a motel room. Most motels have banned smoking and it was nice that the motel accommodated smokers. I liked the possibility to order food and get it delivered, very practical for a timed stay between a late shuttle ride and an early plane. Its cheap, simple and clean. They had good free wifi. You van get simple snacks and drinks from the machine and get decent take out from deliveries nearby. Direct and free shuttle, on time. Good for a nights layover. Good valua for money. Staff were extremely accommodating; I arrived before check in time with a sick wife and they gave us a room promptly. Staff were also very helpful with any assistance we required. Had to call with my mobile phone to the lodge to understand how the shuttle worked (it is run by the shuttle to the parking area). But that was a very minor problem. Location is not good...alot of Police activity at night with the locals. Located in industrial section of Phx - but so convenient for airport I really can't complain!. Location. Too many weirdos at night. A lot of abandoned buildings (stores, motels,etc...) But nothing you can do about it. When we arrived at thwe airport, even though I had told the desk person we needed wheelchair accessible transport to the hotel, he didn't tell the transport company this. We had to wait an hour at the airport watching vehicles go by until the one with a lift was arranged for us. Breakfast was the usual US awful thing... Better forget... Surrounding ( location ) of Hotel does not seem to be very safe. Maybe a bit further from the airport than I thought it would be. Doesn't make a good impression from the street. Could use nicer quality and newer linens. The mattress was firmer than I like. If you stay on the second floor, you will need to bring your bags up the stairs by yourself. Can't think of anything. The A/C was noisy. Nothing. nothing. We didn't expect more for $80 a night for the whole family. Nothing. An older rather large motel that needs some upgrading; no restaurant adjacent. Not the best neighborhood. Bed was not super comfortable and was squeaky. area around the hotel wasn't that great, but it was certainly convenient to the airport. The new spa tubs seemed ridiculous. I would have preferred a frig. Noisy air con but I have yet to come across a quiet one in Hotels.
