Proximity to airport was great. Also had a nice room with separate sitting area. The pool are was very nice and relaxing. The staff was friendly from the moment we arrived. The upgrade was welcomed with the room spacious and warm. Loved the sleep number bed. Wanted to stay longer just because of the bed. Really liked the suite set up. The hotel was beautiful. My wife picked up a nasty case of athlete's foot. Those were the only places she went barefoot. We had just stayed at Radisson Yuma and were quite spoiled by complimentary coffee in the morning. Had to wait for an averge $2. cup here. Also had problems with our plumbing and had to use lobby facilities. I advised the front desk on check out and they did offer us a free breakfast but we had to get to airport. There was no offer to adjust the room or reduce the dinner from the night before. j. The bed was not working and there were issues with the pool. There was nothing we did not like. I had no dislikes. No fridge in the room or electric jug for boiling water. The bellboy who dropped me at the airport forgot that I said I was flying with American airlines and dropped me off at US Air. This was a nightmare for me as I had two heavy suitcases and had to find a way to get to an entirely different terminal. Broken class that I stepped on in the bathroom that the maids had not fully cleaned up. The sound didn't work on one of the channels of the TV. Bathroom not clean and generally the rooms need to be refurbished. They gave us a room over looking the roof and the heating/air conditioning units. This was noisey, there was no view at all and it made the room dark, I need light. Rooms could use better sound isolation. We could hear planes all night. Also, the person that checked us in wasn't very friendly... He kind of recited some information very fast and gave us our room keys. I would have appreciated a more calm, responsive person to welcome me to the hotel. No USTODAY by 10 AM in the morning on 2 of the days I was there. If the hotel is full on certain days, better be prepared to have more newspaper for all guests. Airport shuttle number not provided. Despite attempts to help from airport staff, we were not able to arrange for shuttle service, which was hard to take at the end of a long day. I'm travelling with my 81 year old mother, and smooth arrangements were especially important. We don't have a US cell phone, so were relying on the airport phones. Unable to set the thermostat above freezing. They didn't have a courtesy phone at the airport to call for their shuttle. I didn't have my cell phone, so I had to go to information at the airport and the lady called for me. no bath robe. The room and bathroom needed a detailed cleaning (dusting, bathroom walls, corners etc.). The restaurant had one menu with limited selections. I had to ask for my bathroom to be cleaned. When I checked in the person that checked me in stated that someone had canceled my reservations and was refusing to give me a room. She stated that the person told them my mother had passed away. This was not funny since my mother is deceased. The rate was too high for the quality of the room and amenities offered. The fact that on the website there was no information about the gym being update or down for repairs cause we would have stayed someone else instead of having to go to the hotel down the street. Room werent as clean and say some mold on lights. Bar and meals somewhat expensive. Beds were stiff and small. Materresess was't good enough. The room we were given smelled terribly of sewage which gave me a headache. Not the quality I would have expected.
