Central location to Times Square and Central Park and easy access to shopping and most tourist attrations. That it was only a block an a half from Ziegfeld theatre where we were attending a movie premiere. The hotel has a good location. The staff is already to help you, it was very attention.the hotel is clean and very warm great staff and service. The room was quiet and clean.excellent location!. THE location could not be better turn left and you are in times squareturn right and you are in central park ideal for subway network ideal ifyou are sight seeing.staff very helpful in arranging a room change.very helpful with touristy questions. The room by the elevator was noisy. I could here the banging of the cables from my room.when we checked in, the room we were sent to was under renovation. however, they had another room available, and the bellman took care of rearranging that for us. The outlook of the lobby and rooms a bit worn out, but things functionedand that's most important.just a minor point, was a loud noise from the heater everytime we turned it on. WiFi erratic and only available at lobby; no room service (restaurant was fully booked the evening I arrived and I didn't feel like looking for a place to have a quick meal). Room size. Long wait for elevator. Lots of money to pay for a room that was sooooooo riny.slow service of elevator. In room 35 noise of lift or heating system occasionally woke me up. Only first night -room was very warm,noisy from outside,we had smole room with smole double bed and I sleept on the foor,because we couldnt sleep 2girls on this mini bed.Next day was everything ok,they gived us room with 2singles beds. no tea or coffee facilities in rooms. Could do with a revamp. The air warming system did not function properly in our room. It was old and noisy.Not the best in terms of room size and modcons. However we just wanted aplace to sleep...do you visit nyc to hang out in a hotel room?. The room was too small and the furniture very, very old. They also need to do a real restauration work on the interior of the rooms.Room size small but fair for the price. Rooms were basic but adequate. The bar wasnt particularly inviting and had a greek theme so was difficult to choose drinks etc. Rooms too small. It is a little worn out.
