It's style and panache. The staff are wonderful, the comfort (the bed is so comfy and the room is very spacious), the Rooftop Bar and the location is amazing! The attention to detail is fabulous - it was my birthday while we were there and the hotel had a little handwritten note in the room to send me good wishes with a gift which was extremely thoughtful. They rang us during our stay to see if everything was okay and to let us know they are there to help if we needed anything. I miss it alread.
all reviews » - The staff is great. They allowed a early check in and provided a generous gift for my wife how was celebrating her birthday. - The hotel propose is also great. Modern and well located. From the room we got I was possible to hear the street noise during the day. - Definitely, I'll come back to it my next time in NYC. This is a truly wonderful hotel. Great design down to every little detail. Beautiful linens, comfortable bed, high ceilings, great bathroom. Gorgeous rooftop bar; friendly helpful staff. Ideal midtown location in the garment district. Staff all very pleasant & competent, not just the front desk but also the guys on the door and the cleaning staff. Room and facilities always very clean. Felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Ideal location. Hotel was exceptional! From the comfort of the bed, the design of the room, the lovely breakfast, funky bars and the most helpful staff I have ever encountered. All the staff were fabulous. The room was clean and tidy. Refinery is a new place , very trendy , with a great rooftop and great team. EVERYTHING! The place is gorgeous, perfectly located and comfortable. Great staff went out of their way to make it a great stay. The hotel staff was friendly, courteous and responsive. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. the lovely staff the amazing rooftop bar. Very friendly personel, very helpful. The toiletries, the design, the staff. Location and comfort of facilities. No coffee machine in rooms, the Rooftop Bar closing at 11pm :-( It would be nice for breakfast to be included in the price but its nice that they had free tea and coffee in the mornings in the lobby. Only had breakfast in restaurant one morning of the four, the price differential with local diners etc was to large to ignore. Would have preferred to have breakfast at the hotel. Why not give something of a discount to residents to reduce the differential to some degree?. Hotel busy fri and sat night with very noisy guests - when we rang security they came immediately. As in previous comment, the rooftop bar could only be accessed by going outside first and when you got up there all the seating is reserved. However that changed at the weekend when the city is quieter. Nothing!. rude and obnoxious door staff. I was not in the system when I arrived. nothing. Everything was great. The Rooftop Bar and 1st Floor Lounge were terrible. The staff at the Roof top Lounge were more concerned about accomodating single men then waiting on other customers. Perhaps there is another business going on there rather then a bar?????. Not being able to get into the rooftop bar, we managed it once however could not get a table the last few nights due to the crowds even though we were guests in the hotel. Roof teracce no children admitted. It would be Nice if it was open for onder children (like 12+) for exempel between 5 and 7 pm. Every day seemed to host a private event, makes hotel-stayers feel like they're not welcome. Noise from the street and only 1 bedside table and light.
