The room was beautiful, the hotel staff was very helpful. I will stay at this hotel on my next visit. I didn't realize at the time of booking how close it was to Time Square. Hotel was exceptional value for money. Located on Times Square. Room was small but what we were expecting. Lobby was ornate and well designed. Have recommended already. Its location...right in the middle of everything. The rooms were so comfortable and cosy and the staff were fantastic. I really can't find one negative thing to say.

This hotel didn't have that.Shower window comes to outside, therefore it was cold in the bathroom. no mini bar or vending machines or room service of any kind to be able to get a bottle of water or soft drink in your room without having to go to a shop would have been good.The only thing I didn't like would be the noise outside some nights but I still managed to get a good night's sleep everytime. The elevators were slow and then broken....no coffee machine in room. The tax added on and the price of international calls from the hotel room. I had a problem with a tv remote in my room and when staff came up to look at it they didn't do anything about it. Use a good book to survive the trip by elevator. Its painfully slow.The room was a little bit small. The lifts are rather small and slow. A typical New York Hotel complaint - rooms are always too small. just the wait for lifts. The room lighting, especially by the mirrors was a bit dark, hard to fix one's makeup. Seeing there is no coffee shop, a coffee-maker in the room would be great! (Just one of those simple ones, where the water drips through). 1. Restaurant only serves "small plates," not complete meals 2. Only two, very slow elevators. 3. No room service and no coffee or mini bar in the room. 4. No iron or ironing board in the room. 5. The worst part: very noisy room -- didn't get 5 minutes of sleep because of the loud street noise (garbage trucks all night long). 6. No in- room movies.Specialy on the weekends, try to get a room on the upper floors, there was very loud music in the bar until 4am. No chance to sleep without earplugs... It's okay during the week. It was hard to book things because the concierge was not always there.Very slow lift. Small room. No Gym. The lift was terrible.Room was a bit cramped, but nice. The heat was having a difficult time keeping up with what was admittedly the coldest day of the year. the size of the bathroom was almost unacceptable. Had we been staying longer, we probably would have moved. The size of the room and the bed (seemed shorter than an average full-sized bed) also was almost annoying. I say "almost" because we noticed it, but we did not complain.No coffee machine nor mini bar in the rooms. Rooms were very small with almost no space to move. There is no SKYPE phone at the hotel. slow elevator, but it did work. The noisy sound of the central condition machine, the noise of the night club, breakfast was not included in the price, the number of rooms with double beds are few. There were difficulties in getting warm water. For what it's worth, the queen size bed is quite short. Tall people will have their feet hanging out. This is probably because of the understandably small foom size.Not really a complaint more a suggestion.a bit of warmth in bathroomwould be welcome in winter + thought food and drinks were to expensiveso went out to dine.
