Location is genius in the heart of Times Square, The open bus tour starts just in front of the hotel, We were in a Premium King Suite in the 25th floor and the view was very nice, Staff (House Keeping, reception & concierge) were extremely friendly and efficient, the suite was ready for the whole family consisting of 4 persons, I have 14 & 8 years kids who stayed in the sofa bed and it was acceptable for them, Please don't forget to get the free Special Cookies from the reception any ti.
all reviews » we enjoyed very much staying at the hotel: the suite was very comfortable and its size is not typical to ny hotels - much bigger. the staff was super friendly and helpful (Alex & David!!!) and helped solving personal issues regarding our trip in the most efficient way. The welcome greeting with the cookies was lovely and so the ice-cream and cookies treat on 4th july. the location is great, the view from the upper floors is dreamy - and yes - we will come back to the double tree hilton-time. What a location - we had the best view of timesquare right out the window and the room was even spacious with two rooms and a large bathroom. The price was really reasonable for all this. It was clean, comfortable, didn't smell (like some of the other stuffy hotels) and the staff was very friendly. We were only here for one night before heading to the timeshare, but next time we're booking this place for the entire trip instead!. Excellent situation in the heart of Times Square, Broadway and the theatre district. The situation is already " a must see". Very polite and nice staff. Living room and bed room etc. (refridgerator, microwave owen, coffee maker, two TVs, safety box, iron etc.). Tap water good (we are in Finland used to drink best tap water in the world). A great view from upper floors. Good breakfast. Very clean. As a whole an excellent choice. I liked the location. The bed was comfortable. The room in general was comfortable. They were responsive and helpful. We were given great suggestions for places to eat, and were made to feel very much at home every time we passed through the lobby on our way in and out. We wanted to store our bags for a few days whilst in Washington and my husband checked the night before and was told yes but in the morning the manager said no they do not accept bags. Luckily we had already found out that they could be stored at Penn Station otherwise could have been a problem. That would be the only problem we had at the hotel. Would recommend the hotel to friends and relatives and would stay there again. Nothing. The only thing I would say about the suite we stayed was the sofa was not very comfortable. They were also doing building works on the outside of the building which you didn't know until you got there. There was no mattress on the sofabed and the housekeeper assured us that the sofabed was made. At 11 pm we discovered that in fact there was not a mattress on the sofa, we called care line and waiting 15 minutes to get a rollaway that the staff member merely rolled into the room without asking if we needed assistance in setting it up. No free wifi....the kids were not happy!. car access with luggage was difficult; hotel could have given suggestions w reservation. Couldn't cash a check because the Telecheck machine broke down. None in the hotel. Very limited flexibilty for extension of check-out time. I have no complaints at all. Having to leave!!. liked everything. Check in time is a bit too late at 3:00 pm. WiFi is not free in room, breakfast is very expensive. The bathtub drain was very slow to drain and after it was supposedly "fixed," the flow of water remained the same. However, on the last night before checking out, the drain lever wouldn't work at all. We were going to mention it at the front desk while checking out, but didn't think to bring it up before departing. - not having free internet in the room. Nothing really. expensive breakfast. It was 100 degrees when we were there. A pool would have been greatly appreciated!. The breakfast was poor. The Internet is 17 $ per day and its not free. N/A. The pull out bed was very uncomfortable. Only a child could sleep on that bed. The sofa-bed on our second stay is old and uncomfortable (2807), whereas the one on our first stay is quite new (1211). nothing. sofa bed for our two teenagers was very uncomfortable.
