    This is a nicely decorated hotel with updated facilities and very comfortable bedding. Well appointed, richly decorated, compact rooms. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. The pool and courtyard area is beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast is delicious with many food options from which to choose. The rooms are semi luxurious with nice bathrooms, comfy big beds and a big tv. The lobby is nice with computers you can use for free. The bar and pool are are great for a relaxing beer.     I liked that it was in a quiet street but only a five minute walk from the hub of activity. I absolutely loved the Ruby Slipper right next door for breakfast every morning, why go anywhere else!! This place rocks!! The hotel has a general laid back feeling and Thomas at reception was a most helpful and genuine guy. A gold star for him! I've stayed all over in my time, I ain't too fussy, I loved this place, I'd stay again.good luck! - wonderful staff made you feel at home -- very helpful and joyful -- kept the room clean while we were there for 5 days -- had great recommendations and were interested in your adventures in New Orleans; and best of all the whole hotel is non-smoking!!!!!! and you can't beat the location -- access to all of NOLA at your fingertip!     The location is close enough that I never had to drive anywhere, me and my fiance were able to walk everywhere anytime of day and be safe! Some of the best eateries in New Orleans where with in a easy 5 minute walk! The hotel is clean, looks beautiful, clean, and most of the staff was pretty friendly and helpful. Speaking of staff, if a man name... what people say » d Kevin is working there get to know him, he was helpful and friendly. We have decided we will stay here again on our next trip! - Night clerk (Eustice) was one of the most friendly & helpful clerks that I have ever seen at any hotel. He always called us by name. He always asked if there was anything else he could do for us & even offered to refund taxi fare when the cabbie dropped me off at the wrong Hilton! Great man--don't lose him.

    Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Both Valet and Front desk were always prompt and willing to help. Hotel is in a great location. I would not stay anywhere else. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable. Hotel has a great pool. Valet is $34 a day. Able to walk to or was picked up at the hotel for all excursions. It's far enough away from Bourbon Street to be able to sleep with no noise and close enough to be on Bourbon Street to walk there in minutes. It's about a 20 minute walk to Frenchman Street. I would stay there again.

    Location location location! Little over a block from bourbon st! Free yummy hot breakfast, steps from the best live music and party street around and the best value and service for your money. We have stayed in a fancy bourbon st hotel before and while the experience is nice, for the value of everything I have mentioned we will stay here every tim... what people say » e we come back to NOLA!     I loved the staff as well as the hotel. Everything was perfect from the time we checked in to check out. Close to Bourbon and within walking distance of alot of shops. - The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the comfortable beds andthe ease of checking in and out.     The location in the Garden District was within walking distance of the lovely antebellum mansions and great restaurants. The streetcar was right outside our door. We would highly recommend this hotel and would return in a - We booked at the Avenue Plaza at the last minute because our reserved hotel room elsewhere had a broken pool. For $10 more a night, the amenities were more than doubled. We were so happy with our stay at the Plaza I will book there every return (business) trip. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.

    Nice clean hotel within walking distance to convention center, wwii Museum, buses, streetcar stations. We walked to French Quarter and it was a nice 10 ~ 15 min walk. Our room had a king bed, sofa and desk area, kitchen area w/small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a sink. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious.     I loved the vibe of the hotel and the fact that it is a boutique hotel. The check in staff were very accommodating and I love the green apple touch. I helped myself to one every day. The best concierge ever would have to be king. He was superb! Not only did he recommend excellent restaurants but he was a wealth of information on the "real New Orle... what people say » ans". We were fascinated to hear his account of hurricane Katrina, the education system and overall economy in New Orleans. In addition he supplied us - I loved this hotel! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend. I use to live in New Orleans, but this was my husband's first visit and we had a blast. The staff is very attentive and they even left a special gift in our room once they found out it was my birthday! Great location & Great modern hotel!

    hi all my partiner and i stayed there for 2 nights last week carol greeted us with the biggest southern smile around she and the rest of the staff were most helpful getting us settled in after a 16 day trans alantic cruise we had 2 friends traveling with us they had a mixup with there booking dates BUT carol sorted it out and found the acco... what people say » m at one of there other accom hotel no trouble at all we loved the area sooo close to everything and would stay again and reconmend to anybody to sta - Located in the heart of French Quarter, 5 minutes walk from Bourbon Street, 10 minutes Jackson Square or Canal Street. Room where i stayed was small, just big enough for a queen bed, bathroom was actually bigger - but very comfortable and perfectly adequate for solo traveller. I was a little concerned about walking back late at night after reading several reviews - but really nothing to worry about. Would definitely recommend - excellent value for money. - A nice old building with typical for nola iron balcony (there are tables and chairs there, so you can sit, have a cup of coffee and admire the view of the old French Quarters). The rooms are renovated with clean and modern bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The people in hotel very friendly and helpful. The was no safe in the room but there is a safety deposit box at the front desk and its free! Location is great - just two blocks from Bourbon Street.
