The service was really good, the atmosphere was comf - The quietness of the rooms and the view of the ocean. The pleasantness of the staff. The extras - downstairs in the patio area were several fire pits for families to sit around. Pets are welcome. Fresh salads, sandwiches, desserts, drinks, etc. were in a refrigerated case for purchase. Also snacks and candies were for sale. Elevators had a view of the outside (I'm claustrifobic).   Beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Spacious room, full kitchen, separate bedroom. All the amenities we could want. Staff was friendly, helpful, and appeared genuinely dedicated to making our stay wonderful. - I could see the waves breaking against the rocks from the motel window and balcony.   Bookings.com sent them the wrong dates, when we got there the staff(Doug) upgraded our room to a nicer one since the room we reserved was occupied and also gave us a coupon for the Chinese restaurant within walking distance. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony. We did not realize that when we made the reservation it was the same ... what people say » weekend as the kite festival and we could watch it all from the comfort of our room. The spa/hot tub was actually hot, most of the ones we have used a - We went to Lincoln City for the kite festival, and realized the motel was right across the street. Management even let us park there for a bit instead of having to go somewhere else to park after we checked out.
