  This could be a book....the staff that I met (Brandy, Forrest, Christi, and Nancy) were amazing. This is not hype. I care at a CNA 2 level for elderly, so I know REAL. These folks were real. Now the hotel was wonderful. REALLY. Clean, on the beach, free stuff (movies, yummy warm drinks, cookies....) I was very Blessed to find this place actu... what people say » ally. And I really mean Blessed. OK enough already I know. But on a scale from 1 to 10 I give it 500!~! - The staff were amazing and so helpful when I needed to ask for directions to a restuarant. The room was very clean and the free breakfast was delicious. My daughter and I made waffles :). They also had warm cookies waiting for guests as we checked in. We'll be back for sure. The location was perfect - right next to my favorite part of the beach with tons of tide pools.

  The overall layout and design and how well it's integrated into the landscape. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Access to Gleneden Beach and to Lincoln City, Depoe Bay and Newport. We have stayed at Salishan Lodge about five times over the past 15-20 years and I still love it. - We have stayed at Salishan about 6 times over the past 25 yea... what people say » rs. We love the setting and the rooms. Our room was one of the larger rooms and we enjoyed the seating area and the fireplace.
