  The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful. I didn't realize this was a condo upon booking. I'm sure there are some beautiful rooms, but you need to be aware of that or you end up with a very old ugly room. - Excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant. Excellent quality and casual.   The overall layout and design and how well it's integrated into the landscape. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Access to Gleneden Beach and to Lincoln City, Depoe Bay and Newport. We have stayed at Salishan Lodge about five times over the past 15-20 years and I still love it. - We have stayed at Salishan about 6 times over the past 25 yea... what people say » rs.   Loved the location, it's a great location to get anywhere along the central coast. Best ocean front & accessability to the beach we could see from any of the other resorts in the area. Really liked having the balcony to sit or walk out to see the view. Ours pictures would tell the story. The service was really good, the atmosphere was comf - The quietness of the rooms and the view of the ocean. The pleasantness of the staff. The extras - downstairs in the patio area were several fire pits for families to sit around. Pets are welcome. Fresh salads, sandwiches, desserts, drinks, etc. were in a refrigerated case for purchase. Also snacks and candies were for sale. Elevators had a view of the outside (I'm claustrifobic). The room coffee was delicious! The dog area was convenient. There was always coffee, cookies and local pap
