  Loved the old historic building and location. Everyone was very nice.. I was a bit disappointed that internet access for my own device was an extra charge when it was no extra charge at all the other hotels we stayed at along our trip. Seemed like maybe the were hurting for business but they weren'T. Lots of people there. - I liked the fact that it is an old hotel, which has a lot of class. I have been there before and with a city the size of LA, I feel comfortable with the location. I requested the highest floor possible and the quietest area and my requests were honored.

  Everything...The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was beautiful. When I arrived I walked into the filming of an HBO sitcom in the lobby!!   As soon as we arrived this hotel captured us. It's location was easy to find from the airport (though the driving on the other side of the road/car was a little taxing). The Standard sign placed upside down, the fire heated outside seating area, the colouful indoor waiting area with pool table, warm and welcoming staff with a hairdressers and shop... what people say » all waiting when you enter. We were upgraded to a room with a larger bed and docking station (the bed being the biggest ive seen, let alone slept in) - Everything was perfect. Excellent staff, special mention to Rodrigo, very helpful since the very beginning. The Rooftop is simply amazing, with a nice atmosphere and good music. We did not used the pool as it was always full, LOL. The location is also very good, with the 7th street Metro station 2 blocks away.

  I had a very good stay at the Ramada hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in close vicinity to a lot restaurants and shops. I traveled as a solo female and I felt safe in the hotel and surrounding areas. I traveled through the city by using the transit which is very cheap at only $1.50 for most buses. Although if you are... what people say » going somewhere alone in the night time, I would recommend taking a taxi because some areas I did not feel very comfortable walking through by myself - Yuvi was an amazing front desk assistant. She went above and beyond to help us after a horrible experience at a neighboring hotel. She made everything better and helped us immediately. Best breakfast buffet I have had in a long while
