Everything...The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was beautiful. When I arrived I walked into the filming of an HBO sitcom in the lobby!! My stay at the Hilton was just one more thing that I loved about my visit to California. Comfort and familiarity of a smallish boutique-like hotel, convenient location (was in LA for son's Graduation from USC), super friendly and helpful front desk staff.

Insufficient lighting in the rooms. Food choices weren't that great- considering the prices. The beds were too soft--cannot sleet too long or you'll get a backache. No towel racks?. I know I have to pay for WiFi, but I'd rather have it built into the fee I'm quoted for the room, than discover its an extra charge per day. Most other hotels I visit have WiFi as complementary and I think business travelers expect it. The rooftop pool has been removed and the rooftop was under renovation. The rooftop was the reason we booked this hotel, so a little disappointed that this didn't match the description. Parking was a steep $38 regardless of length of stay We were not told pool was under renovation. No Sunday paper(=:. it has no parking. Was overcharged by accident. Rooftop spa closed/couldn't use or access due to an event. Food and bar closed at 11 on Saturday night. That they did not let anyone know that the cold water would be turned off at some point of our stay. My husband was literally in the shower when they cut the cold water and was burned by the instant hot water. I called down to the office manager and they were awesome about taking care of all of our expenses, but burns just don't go away and he is still red on his back. But we did appreciate them taking care of everything. Parking to expense. Had difficulty getting hot water quickly, bathrooms were not very clean - mold in the shower, garbage can not cleaned out, hair on walls of shower. The price wasn't higher than the hotel itself. It has problem in the parking. They get high price pe-rday but without breakfast. I didn't like that the staff was friendly and they didn't make me feel comfortable in the hotel. I felt like if I needed something, that it was an inconvenience to them. They should smile more and be more polite. Hottub was out of order. The staff never mentioned this at check in. The bartender didnt know as we are taking drinks to go. My room key failed 2 times in one evening making for two trips back to front desk to get new keys.. The room felt like a cave with no view. Main reason was for a romantic get away with rooftop hot tub. Very disapointed. It is very very very expensive compared to its facilities and rooms. Even no internet at room!.
