The location was perfect. There was a subway station nearby and also taxis and buses readily available, so getting around was easy.
I happened to visit during the unfortunate government shutdown, so there was a lot that I wanted to see but couldn't. The staff was very friendly and quick to offer suggestions on what to do and see, and what was open. The housekeeping staff were amazing, cleaning my room promptly each day.

The hotel is fully renovated. Nice, clean, modern. Having a kitchen helped feed breakfast in the morning for kids. Close to Mt. Vernon square metro station-yellow line. Friendly front desk. Elisa is great. Left our bags at the hotel upon check out since we had a later flight. CVS is round the block for groceries. We were flying from DCA - so a quick 5 min walk to metro and we were at the airport < 30mins!!

I really liked that the staff, particularly, the manager Michael was very attentive to any concern I addressed. Also the hotel is very close to all the attractions and the metro is the best way to get there. Or if you take a cab its only $11 away. - The room was very comfortable and clean.
