  Location is great for sight seeing. We were able to walk to everything and Metro is half block away if needed. Staff was very friendly and had nice recommendations for places to eat. Coffee in bed is a treat! - The staff were courteous and helpful. Liked the Starbucks down on the ground floor. Loved the fact it was above Metro Center and around the corner from the White House, Spy Museum, Crime Museum and some high street brands plus Macy's across the street. Also within walking distance to Chinatown and restaurants. Very central and accessible because of subway below. Good breakfast. appreciated the fact it had free laundry room use - very important as we were on the road for a month.

  Great location! Very well insulated room, very quiet and clean. Very good bed. Upon arrival we asked the young lady at the desk for a nice bistro around, and she referred us to a very special place close to the hotel where we really enjoyed organic food and the most pleasant ambiance for a couple of meals.   85 year old plus Uncle Fred took us to dinner while we were staying at the Harrington. Fred stayed at the Harrington in 1947, and leaving the hotel bumped into Harry Truman. &Quot;Where are you stationed, Soldier?" asked Truman. However, this hotel is the perfect place to stay in dc. It has nice, basic rooms, very clean and provides all that is required. Most importantly, it is in a great location, being very close to all the popular tourist destinations. There is a fun bar in the lobby, and the cafe provides a decent, well priced breakfast. I thoroughly recommend this one.

  The staff was Extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was close to everything we wanted to visit. The food in the restaurant/brewery downstairs was delicious. The morning breakfast buffet was tasty and convenient. I would stay again in the future and highly recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to dc to tour the city.   The location was right where you would want to be to visit all of Washington DC's monuments/museums, etc. We were able to walk to everything between the Capitol and the Lincoln Monument. The staff was awesome and extremely friendly. The hotel was very clean and was far more luxurious than I expected. The hotel is a great bargain for the money paid... what people say » per night. I will stay here every time I travel to D.C. I was going to book at another hotel nearby but they couldn't accomodate my needs. After int - I liked the ambiance of the entire experience. Everything was very convenient and in the midst of many attractions right in the area! I enjoyed a very relaxing two days. The staff was very accommodating and made sure my requests were taken care of. I appreciated the manner in which I was treated.
