  The staff is absolutely outstanding! It was our 1st time there and they treated us like old friends. The restaurant is one of the finest my wife and I have eaton at in a long time.   The Margate is a large and resorty hotel (we tend not to go for any hotel with "resort" in the name) and we got exactly what we expected. However the lake to the rear is wonderful and the highlight of our entire two weeks in New England was probably a meal (very good value) on the little jetty as the sun was setting over the lake (although three ... what people say » pints of the excellent Harpoon IPA may have served to enhance the overall picture somewhat!). And the lady at the bar was wonderful. - I enjoyed the hotel very much. The front desk staff was exceptional, friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the front lobby very much, I had a friend stop by to see me and we were very comfortable in the seating area, it was very quite and comfortable. I would diffenately come back to the Margate!!

  I really liked the cottage, very cute and quaint. The weather for our five days was perfect and we loved the swimming. The location of Lazy e is perfect for Lake Winnepasaukee and we did all our favorite things including Hart's Turkey Farm and taking a cruise on the lake.   The Inn only has 34 rooms...I am hesitant to describe how lovely/wonderful/relaxing/peaceful this place is as I want to make sure that there will be a room available to me when I come back.   This was a great location just a short walk to the beach and activities @ the Weirs beach pavilion. Plus we had our own parking space. The room was very clean, which is a must for most travelers. If we needed anything replenished, all we had to do was ask and they would leave it on the front porch. We will most definitely stay here again on future - Excellent location, helpful friendly staff, pets allowed, BBQ gas grills with utensils included. Each cottage has a screened in porch and picnic table, So close to the boardwalk and Weirs Beach, yet set in a wooded area so you feel more peaceful. Definitely will return as soon as possible.

The owners are very friendlly and make an effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Mike (the owner) recommended us a good restaurant in Meredith, closeby called Mame's and indeed it was very nice cosy restaurant with a great menu. The setting of the Inn is so beautiful and quiet and if you're lucky you might even see the deer or bears. Don't hesitate and stay at the Inn, you won't be disappointed!!
