Owners were friendly and helpful. View of water and mountains was very pretty even tho we had fog and mist in early morning.
Location was very good for us. -

The Margate is a large and resorty hotel (we tend not to go for any hotel with "resort" in the name) and we got exactly what we expected. I enjoyed the hotel very much. The front desk staff was exceptional, friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the front lobby very much, I had a friend stop by to see me and we were very comfortable in the seating area, it was very quite and comfortable. I would diffenately come back to the Margate!!

I really liked the cottage, very cute and quaint. The weather for our

is perfect for Lake Winnepasaukee and we did all our favorite things

The Inn only has 34 rooms...I am hesitant to describe how lovely/wonderful/relaxing/peaceful this place is as I want to make sure that there will be a room available to me when I come back. It was absolutely beautiful. The room was so lovely! The staff pleasant and helpful; the meal was excellent; just a perfect stay. And, the prices were reasonable. Dinner viewing the lake and sunset; the most comfortable bed; gorgeous decor. I would truly expect to pay more and it was such a pleasant surprise not to feel "gouged". I will most definitely make up reasons to go back. Thank you for restoring my faith in quality with the person's overall experience in mind.

This was a great location just a short walk to the beach and activities
@ the Weirs beach pavilion. Plus we had our own parking space. The room
was very clean, which is a must for most travelers. If we needed
anything replenished, all we had to do was ask and they would leave it

Excellent location, helpful friendly staff, pets allowed, BBQ gas grills with utensils included. Each cottage has a screened in porch and picnic table, So close to the boardwalk and Weirs Beach, yet set in a wooded area so you feel more peaceful. Definitely will return as soon as possible.

Mike & Pat are the perfect hosts. Excellent atmosphere, location & pampering made this a most enjoyable stay. I will recommend Lighthouse Inn B&B to anyone who wants to stay close by the Weir's Beach area, especially mature couples looking for that special place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse Inn. The owners are very friendlly and make an effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Mike (the owner) recommended us a good restaurant in Meredith, closeby called Mame's and indeed it was very nice cosy restaurant with a great menu. The setting of the Inn is so beautiful and quiet and if you're lucky you might even see the deer or bears. Don't hesitate and stay at the Inn, you won't be disappointed!!
