The staff were veey accomodating, from the moment we arrived they paid attention to make it a special anniversary for us. We were greeted in our suite with baloons, chocolate truffles and champagne after a day of sightseeing. The beach and pool area were beautiful, and the pig roast was very enjoyable. Ricardo took good care of us at the beach and made sure we gad everything to nake us comfortable. We will definitely be back.
all reviews » This is a typical resort hotel with rooms opening from an open corridor, very friendly and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The room was spacious, there was a fridge in it as well. I have to highlight the location of the hotel which is very good, it is like two blocks away from the Southernmost Point and you can reach the main street with a short walk. The hotel has a private beach as well. The Reach hotel was excellant, staff friendly and efficient, rooms and hotel in general were great. The fact that it had a beach was great, location in Key West was Southside a quieter end but a shot walk to all ameneties, a perfect choice for any age or family. The whole ambiance of the resort was comfort, starting with clean and crisp linens to good service and the pool and beach. Close enough to Duvall St, to walk but far enough away to enjoy the ocean breeze in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Room was pleasant, well fitted out, with a balcony that provided a lovely view of the pool and gardens. Fresh fruit in the lobby, a nice touch. We ate dinner at the Strip House and the food was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The whole atmosphere was pleasing and relaxing. The bathroom door in the suite we stayed was quite "unique" since there wasn't one specifically for the bathroom. The bathroom shower. Poorly designed. Very small. Only two feet three inches wide. Poor water pressure from shower head. we had 4 in a room and a double bed and pull out sofa. I knew that going in, but it would have nice to have 2 beds and a bit more space. price of hotel food. Our room was above the garbage dumpster and the smell was horrid in the heat. Couldn't sit and enjoy the balcony, and the balcony itself was lovely. Management really needs to get the sanitation company to wash the bins before returning an empty one. I did voice this concern to the Front Desk Manager and Paul was very accepting of our concern about this issue. Room a bit small. My only issue was the prices of the pina coladas and daquiris. On the high side compared to everywhere else. $20 per day parking $25 per day resort fees. It is just an hotel nothing special. Much too expensive for what you received. The value that you received for the money was not what was expected. Rooms were small, one trash can in room. Rooms were not cleaned at a reasonable time. The restraurant prices where too expensive. The hotel needs 100,000 per room "freshing up". I'm a real estate developer.That has nothing to do with being DIRTY.The service at the pool bar was slow,18% service included. I would probably stay some where else for that kinda money the rooms are small and the hotel is very expensive for what it is , the elevators were down one day so we walked up and down 3flights of stairs all day the pool wasn't very clean all.
