the most fantastic hotel we had ever stayed in,the room,the log fire and the grounds were out of this world.

A unique hotel experience,if you like reading and unusual artifacts,then no where else compares.Restaurant menu reasable value with something for everyone.Wine selection good but over priced.Staff very obliging,well spoken and friendly.Small point,but given the highish room rates,I think full breakfast should have been included.I recommend Glencot.Honesty bar a one off!

The hotel was really quirky and very unique. It felt like living in your own country mansion. The food was amazing.

The swimming pool is not really a swimming pool it's a plunge pool and the light for it was broken so that was a bit of a waste of time.

The hotel is unusual and unique, with very polite and helpful staff. Set in beautiful countryside it makes for a very relaxing stay.

When I read the reviews about the hotel I thought it sounded wonderful and I hoped I wouldn't be disappointed. I wasn't! The hotel is quite different from any I have stayed in. You feel as if you are just visiting friends who live in a wonderful quirky old house and are made very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Definately one to visit again, but next time for longer than one night.

The hotel itself is very cosy and quirky and the staff were excellent. The meals were first class. I would definitely go back again.

the room was very small and the only little thing I didn't like was that although I was told the room had facilities for tea/ coffee, there was no kettle. Perhaps you are meant to ask for it when you need it?
