Such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere the food excellent and the staff so helpful. My husband and myself will be coming back.Customer service and cleanliness of room was first class - would recommend this hotel. friendliness from staff and other guests. The rooms very superbly clean. Very pleasant surroundings, lovely breakfast, comfortable rooms. everything, the hotel was out of this world. would stay again. The beautiful furnishings in the public rooms. Our favourite hotel in Britain - its that good. lovely antiques and friendly reception. FRiendly atmosphere. Quiet and comfortable easy parking available. Beryl is set in lovely grounds and the view from the bedroom was lovely. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice size modern bathroom.Spacious rooms in nice surroundings. Would be lovely in the summer!. Having to share tables at breakfast, we would have preferred to sit at atabel on our own.not everyone likes to go out in the evening , would have been nice to have an offer of maybe a light supper. We did find the hotel a little difficult to find, especially in the dark.We booked a double room and we got a twin. Rooms are all on first and second floors which, although there is a stair lift to first floor, requires a bit of climbing, which may make it difficult for some handicapped or elderly people.On the coldest night of the year the radiators in the room were not on until we got into them and the sitting room etc had no fire. Sadly lacked the welcome that a place like this could have, particularly at this price.
