I read the reviews so was a little dubious to book but did it anyway! as a get away for me and my girlfriend, and so glad I did friendly and helpful staff, room was great, amazing view, have just booked a week for our family holiday its not the Ritz but its value for money, clean, comfortable and the amazing views with a really nice beach on your door step you get what you paid for.
I like the location of the hotel, being at the seaside it adds up to a vacation feeling.
The front desk was very helpful especially being flexible to our request for some room change.

On arrival the staff were very friendly. I had a room with sea view with balcony and it was amazing waking up to the ocean was so relaxing. If staying these rooms would be lovely a little bit extra cost wise but well worth it.

I booked a double room but we were given a twin room...we asked for a double but it was all booked so we were given a really small room which I assume was a single room as there was not much space for two! The bathroom was tiny but it was at least clean. The view was great and it was a great plus! I would recommend this hotel just for the location. The hotel was full of older people so if you are a young couple you might not like it!.

Very poor plumbing - showers in our rooms on 3rd floor did not work due
to low pressure - unable to use them at all.
No hot water...The hot water is almost cold and the flow is very very bad. It will take atleast 1 hour to take nice bath.
Not enough plug sockets in room and lights above bed was right in the way and didnt work.
Shared balconies on 2nd floor, not seen as satisfactory. The french doors,the only method of fresh air could not be left open through the day/night for security reasons.
However we were able to change to another room on 3rd floor.
Considered little variety on morning cereals/ fruit needs addressing.

No WiFi in the rooms but only in the lobby ( it was already stated so it's ok).
Very hot small uncomfortable room, 3 tv channels that broke, the cleaners were very noisy and there was no way of indicating you needed privacy. I had to write my own note. No signal unless you were on the lower floor.

Lack of parking was a problem. Just about Ok in march but later in the season I would think a nightmare!.
Very basic room, booking didn't include breakfast although it was expensive, worst of all, mattress was so lumpy and old that I couldn't sleep because of the discomfort.

Twin room when we asked for double. On arrival the staff showed me a copy ofy booking with all my credit card details including the cv number on the back of the card . I was not happy about this and told they shred it after we leave. One of the single beds had springs digging into my back and the shower didn't have enough water coming three to properly rinse your hair. The room wasn't very clean and tv digital signal kept failing and we couldn't even get the radio on it.

I wanted a double room, but provided with a twin room. It's not as clean as I imagined.
The room was smelling of smoke all the time, it was meant to be non-
smoking room; room was small and dull; the bath was cramped and the
shower had no pressure, was very slow running water and the water was
very hot or very cold. The tap for the bath was not working. No
telephone, no tv remote control in the room and didn't understand
the point of having coffee left in the room.
Not clean , expensive - real price 50- 60 pounds no more than 0ne star hotel , over reited !!! For same money i pay 85 pounds for one night you can find something better !!!! We travel every weekend somewere and i can said only one simple world "This is worst Hotel ever went !!! ".
