Overlooking the beach, the Belvedere Hotel is just 5 minutes’ walk from Sandown Pier and the town centre. Many rooms have sea views and some have balconies. All the sights on the Isle of Wight are within 45 minutes’ drive of the Belvedere. The Fishbourne Ferry Terminal and Newquay town centre are a 20-minute drive away. Blackgang Chine, the world’s oldest theme park, is 12.5 miles away. The Belvedere’s restaurant serves British and international dishes, including locally-caught fresh fish. Both cooked or continental breakfasts are available. The bar serves a range of beers, wines and spirits and overlooks the sea. The sun terrace also has sea views. All rooms have a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a bathroom. Some have views over Sandown Bay and the beach while others overlook the town.

Travelling information

The Belvedere Hotel is situated at the lower end of Sandown High Street, on your left-hand side. There is a second entrance via Daville's restaurant (which is part of the hotel), situated on Sandown sea front. BY FERRY: For guests arriving at Fishbourne ferry terminal, follow the road directions for Ryde and Brading and into Sandown. For guests arriving at East Cowes, follow similar directions to Sandown. Guests travelling to Yarmouth should follow directions to Newport and Sandown.
