Polite, helpful, friendly staff, restaurants, (we ate out two of the nights of our 5 night stay, but the food was better in the hotel) bar, facilities for keeping bicycles overnight, central location, the very quiet room which we had requested. The location was superb, couldn't be more central and the cleanliness of the hotel was second to none. Also breakfast and the seafood buffet on the Friday evening was amazing.

We found the Harbour Restaurant "chilly" (and so did other diners) during breakfast and evening meal on Saturday evening 4th Oct. Room was a bit hot as had to keep window closed due to noise from street.Very noisy in our room at night due to adjacent nightclub (avoid roomson left side of building). Would have preferred the choice of an a la carte menu in dining room, not just a buffet.Residents bar lacking atmosphere. No Parking. 1) Unable to order breakfast in room 2) Internet terminals in bar were constantly occupied, a booking system would have saved many abortive trips to see if they were free. It was very noisy a night with other people screaming down the streets outside. noisy airconditioning units. No clock in room. Not enough hand towels.Restuarant - buffet poor only eat there once. Parking was difficult - nothing on site only public car parks. Food range wasn't so good only had posher food.

Jersey is an ideal holiday destination. Sand and coves fringe the dramatic coast and the award-winning beaches offer water sports where you can learn to surf, dive or jet-ski. From the prehistoric monuments built over 200,000 years ago to the Island’s occupation during the Second World War, history is brought to life through the many museums and heritage sites around the island. In the east, you can explore the magnificent Mont Orgueil. This dramatic castle towers over the harbour at Gorey and is one of the best preserved castles in Britain. It has spectacular views over the island and across the sea to France.

On the other side of the island, you will find the Jersey War Tunnels. This complex of tunnels was excavated during the Second World War. Within the complex is the award winning ’Captive Island’ exhibition.

In St. Helier and opposite the Pomme d'Or is the award-winning Jersey Museum, where you will find the real history of the island.
