    The hotel was excellent for the price. I felt that the photos on the website and the comments from other customers did not give an accurate picture. We would certainly stay at the Old Manor Hotel again if in the area and reccommend it without hesitation. I would change the way the hotel is portayed on the site though, we were pleasantly surprise... what people say » d. - Absolutely fantastic Hotel, location and Rooms , Brilliant decor and really romantic. The Meals were A+ and the service was outstanding, can't wait to stay again someday. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. well done all who work there.

    Lovely greeting from the owner. Food was wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were spot on. Whilst the room was lovely I would have liked some additional touches like some biscuits and herbal teas, a bin in the bedroom and the ability to turn the heating on. I realise it is summer but the towel rail did not come on which would have been nice. But ov... what people say » erall we had a lovely stay and my points are only minor! - The Horse Guards lived up to its high rating...The room was spacious..spotlessly clean, warm, and comfortable. Food was good and reasonably priced and hosts were welcoming and friendly. Lovely quiet spot with country views( and rabbits!)....A perfect spot to relax and unwind and only a few minutes from Tetbury and Malmesbury......IWe absolutely recommend the Horseguards. A+stay.

    the hotel was set in some acres of land which was very pleasant on a warn summers evening. - Inside: brilliant food, very hospitable staff, nice big open fire, big room and bathroom, very clean. Outside: Wiltshire countryside. Could not ask for more.

    We had a lovely stay, when we walked in there was an immediate feeling of being at home everyone was really friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The Bath arms is in a very lovely setting and makes a very enjoyable stay. - Comfortable and clean room, excellent food and staff very polite and helpful.

    Great location, beer and food - Loved the traditional pub and local village setting, fantastic food (evening meal was steak and full English breakfast next morning), really comfortable motel-style room, friendly staff, couldn't fault it!

    Following the booking I was contacted by the owners who clarified and provided more information about the room I booked. This provided the opportunity for me to enquire about evening and breakfast menus. I was extremely impressed by the availability of vegetarian choices and even more delighted by the cook's ability to perfectly cook stuff courget... what people say » te which could have gone horribly wrong. The wonderful baked eggs with spinach and mushrooms with 'proper' bread for breakfast was hummmmm. All staff - Everything - character pub - friendly locals - wonky floors and stairs - slept like a log in a big warm bed - excellent shared bathroom/shower. Breakfast to die for - porridge plus the works and plenty of it bacon, sausages, beans, mushrooms, black pudding and tomatoe, toast and marmalade. All local product - didn't need to eat again that day. I'd give Sreve and Nicky marks 12/10 but mind the dogs everyone seems to have one :)

    The staff in particular. They were very accomodating and helpful. Due to circumstances, we arrived early and an effort was made to provide food and get the room ready. This applied for the duration of our stay. All in all, it left us with a very good impression of the hotel. - Warm friendly atmosphere, good food, excellent room

    The service was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome right from the start. The rooms are small but were clean and the bed very comfortable. It is situated in a lovely village which is located close to Cirencenster, the A419, 15 mins to the M4 and the Cotwolds Water park, which is amazing. It is the only eatery but it serves honest pu... what people say » b food at good prices. The breakfast was amazing. - Everything! Jules and Mark made us feel very welcome and special during our stay. The meals were excellent. The little village is very much Cotswolds but quieter. There are a lot of things to explore around the area but you do need a car however you will be welcomed back at the end of the day to a great meal, drinks and a friendly chat. I highly recommend the Masons.
