    We were delighted with our stay, finding the location excellent for exploring Hereford and surrounding towns. The hotel was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and provided a wonderful breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. - Quite simply one of the cleanest and best bed and breakfast establishments I have stayed in for a long time... what people say » . Excellent service, fantastic big comfortable room with a bath you can virtually swim in. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

    Our stay at The Bridge was extremly enjoyable with beautiful views of the river. The staff were friendly and couldnt do enough for us and our room was of an exceptional standard with beautiful antique furniture. We hadn't booked to eat but were exceedingly lucky there was a table available - which I am sure is unusual.     This is a perfect setting for nature-lovers, with superb views of the Black Mountains. Sheep, chickens, and all kinds of birds are right on the doorstep.     Owners were absolutely lovely and so helpful. We'd cycled there as part of our LEJOG trip and upon arrival were made to feel immediately welcome with a cup of tea and some biscuits. The breakfast was fantastic and the room was clean, spacious and very well kept.     A lovely guest house in a unique setting with charming owners. Very comfortable, warm and welcoming. Nothing appeared too much trouble for the lovely owners. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice, with offers of more toast if you weren't full enough already. They also serve delicious evening meals too in the quiet ambiance of their dining room so no need to go anywhere else for great nosh. Tha - This guest house is in a wonderful setting alongside the river Wye in the charming Symonds Yat East. The guest house was peaceful whilst being close to great walks and wonderful venues for food (try the Saracens!) Our room had an excellent view of the river with its enchanting reflections, and the striking colours of the forest in autumn. This beautiful view was also equaled from the dining room. We found the bed one of the most comfortable we have had in a guest house.Chris & Meryl from D

    The rooms were a very generous size and the bathrooms had both a very large spa bath and a walk in shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable, quiet location. We had awful problems with getting there due to road closures around Swindon/Gloucester because of rain, and the proprietor waited up for us to arrive and gave us... what people say » a very warm welcome. - Such a lovely big room with 4 poster bed..lovely jauzzi bath with beautiful grounds.     The room was very nice and clean, the staff were very welcoming and friendly but my favourite aspect of the whole stay was the BREAKFAST!!! It was fantastic!! My Girlfriend and I were a bit worse for wear from a wedding reception, that we attented the previous evening but after eating the delicious breakfast we felt rejuvenated. I can't find words... what people say » to praise it enough. - The Friendliness of the owners, my only regret was, that I could not stay a while longer. Beautiful house. The facilities were excellent, Breakfast was lovely and one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever sleep in. I will be staying there again on my next trip to Hereford.

    Very good, easy to find location. The room was very spacious bright and clean,with well thought out boutique- hotel type decor. It was a joy to arrive in, after a long hard day of travelling. The Old School is a bit difficult to find in the loose-knit village (It's next door to the new school, logically enough), but once there you get a warm welcome and a good breakfast in the morning. The Pilgrim Hotel just down the road does very nice evening meals.
