    We arrived at 11.15am and the Receptionist found us a room and allowed us to check in early as we were going to a football match. All the staff during the stay were very friendly.     I warmed to the whole ambience of the hotel - from the attractive reception area to the welcome retreat of a clean, comfortable room with excellent bathroom facilities. I wasn't hassled by staff but they were there to help if needed - pleasant too. The garden views were attractive. I have stayed at the Hallmark twice to visit family in the area... what people say » , and would happily choose to do so again. - Beautiful hotel, majority of staff extremely friendly (apart from one grumpy person!). Lovely facilities & extremely clean with excellent tea tray (everyone needs a decent cuppa!). Bathroom perfect & beautiful views over the Humber bridge. Very well priced for a luxury break and definitely a recommended wedding venue.

    I stayed at the Ibis in Hull on the night of Thursday 7th February 2012. I had chosen this hotel as it was located close to the railway station – to find it, come out of the main railway station entrance, turn right, then 200 yards on the other side of the road and you are there. All of the staff with whom I came into contact with were extremely h... what people say » elpful, polite and could not do too much for me – all a credit to Ibis Hull!!. The room was the usual standard Ibis room – I had asked for a quiet roo - The hotel was in a Fantastic location, within a 3 minute walk from the Bus/Train station and I'm the middle of Princess Quay and St Stephens shopping centre. I paid only £35 for the room the beds were extremely comfy, the heating was fantastic, the en suite shower room was perfect and there was a tv with on demand movies/Internet and free terrestrial channels.     A lovely house run by a lovely lady, Acorn Guest House is very guest friendly with good parking facilities and large spacious rooms with en-suite. It is conveniently situated whilst being far away from the centre of things. In Beverley itself there is a very good shopping centre with a variety of shops catering for all tastes as well as s - The room was very comfortable, the bed had a proper memory foam mattress which meant I slept well and woke up feeling refreshed without back pain. The landlady kindly rescued us by photocopying a six page document that was need for a meeting. this was done very graciously and at no charge. The breakfast was excellent.

    The room was great, separate bedroom upstairs, loads of room, little breakfast tray was nice and a fridge was handy for milk and water. Bar area was busy with good food and drink (i stayed on steak night which was very reasonable in price).     The room had tea, coffee and biscuits and the bathroom was very nice with toiletries supplied including shoe cleaning sponge! The breakfast was delicious with good portions.     An absolute joy to stay in; for the price it was fantastic, so much so I will always try to book my time in Hull there! 5 mins walk from the good part of the town. - It's cosy, clean, excellent value and there is so much to eat for breakfast it could keep you going 'till tea.     This is a hotel which has got the basics right. It has pleasing architecture and the staff are attentive and friendly . It is a most pleasant place to stay and has an ambience of comfort and security.     I had a room on the first floor & although the hotel was busy , it was quiet & peaceful-no noise from next door rooms or doors banging etc. The staff are exceptionally friendly.     The hotel was perfectly situated for the purpose of our trip to Hull, it was close to a retail park, plenty of free parking spaces. The staff on reception,Kerry and John were very professional, but friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant, Table Table was well presented. The staff were excellent... what people say » . Our waitress was called Kate and again nothing was too much trouble and the service efficient and friendly. - Position was great for some shopping. Plenty of places to eat out. All staff offered an excellent service. The breakfast was fabulous: lots of choice and plenty of it. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the bed was so comfy we didn't want to get up some mornings. A great weekend. Would stay here again.

    I travelled with 2 others, all female, they had rooms close together, my room was not, chap on reception went out of his way to change rooms for me so that we were all just a few doors away from each other, I really appreciated that.     Ideal for our requirements. Good parking facilities and ease of access to the city centre. As an Old Hullensian hoping to return soon after some 50 plus years absence will use the hotel again for our house hunting visits - staff very helpful and friendly - it was if we were staying in the Campanile hotels in France - would definitely stay again
