Ideal for our requirements. Good parking facilities and ease of access to the city centre. As an Old Hullensian hoping to return soon after some 50 plus years absence will use the hotel again for our house hunting visits. staff very helpful and friendly - it was if we were staying in the Campanile hotels in France - would definitely stay again. cleanliness of room and accesability of bathroom. Easy access to room - no need to go through hotel. The beds were very comfortable. The position of the hotel inrelation to the town centre. The room facilities were very good. Just what we wanted for the type of visit we made to Hull. helpful and friendly staff. Nothing I was kept awake all night by a gang of young men stopping in rooms all around who had to be ejected by police. The road out. The only negative I have was breakfast was very early nd missed it da 3 morning's I was there but my own fault really 4 lying in my lazy bed lol. Unfortunately I forgot to ask about power points. i reqire one close to the bed. This was not possible. They only had one extension lead which was already in use. The rooms were very clean, but there were a few hairs in the bath tub. I was disappointed there was no cd player or radio in the room as i do not watch much t.v.The 'buffet# looked very 'tired' and dried out, other food was ok butmade up for by the very pleasnt service from the chef and waitress.Also, wi-fi is advertised in the bedrooms but there are no plug socketsso if your laptop is not charged you can't use it.No plastic cups inbathroom on second night and, towels left on the floor. No plug sockets in room for simple things like charging your mobile.Nothing about the hotel apart from the fact that Booking.com did not send our reservation through. Thankfully there was still rooms available. No, it was all OK.Room was shabby and most of the lights in the room were broken. No overnight staff. Lots of noise coming from the pub next door late at night. Lack of efficient air conditioning system, leading to an uncomfortable nights rest. the menu on the night time was not very good when asked for certain items from the menu these were not avilable eg potatoes withyour meal. the lack of available electric sockets. stingy small portion on the cooked breakfast, very poor value for £6.95. Situation on busy main road meant excessive noise. The room smelt a bit fusty. The rooms are a bit too basic. Room needed re-furbishing. Difficult to find entrance - no clear signs.the cleanliness of the rooms and bedding. Very noisy. Nearby nightclub was very noisy. The room was grubby, in need of deep clean and unfortunately smoky. When we arrived the hotel said we had no booking so had to phoneletsbookhotel.com after an hours wait the hotel found our booking and all wassorted but with no thanks to hotels deputy manager who just didnt wantto know until letsbookhotel.com rang the hotel. to close to main road which you could hear ever thing what when pass. room was dirty and smelled of smoke. The hotel! The location is made worse by the fact that if you dont time the lights you miss the what appears to be a back street entrance. The fact that its right in the city is not a winning point its right next to the main traffic lights with the noise to boot, every 5 to 10 mins you have the sirine from th AandE and the local youths! Nice not.
