This is a hotel which has got the basics right. It has pleasing architecture and the staff are attentive and friendly . It is a most pleasant place to stay and has an ambience of comfort and security. The interior is well kept and the vaulted cielings are a delight. Friendly staff, clean room, good food, would definitely stay again. Location i.e. next to railway station. Friendly staff.

I was charged £11.95 for breakfast which I did not see until this evening, I did not have breakfast.Breakfast not included in room charge and thought price of breakfast in the hotel was high for what was being offered. Breakfast was too busy - possibly more staff on duty would have eased the situation - the staff were overstretched and unable to keep up with demand.Several items in the room were broken and it was a bit neglected. No waste bin in Bedroom. The plumbing was unsatisfactory. The radiator in the allocated room was faulty so staff arranged a replacement room. However the radiator in that room was also faulty in that there was air and it needed bleeding. View over the train station.The noise from the plumbing anytime someone flushed on the floors above - was loud. The bed was vey old and spring very hard at the shoulder level. The beds need to be changed ASAP.stuffed air, couldn't get fresh air, quite claustrofobic and I didn't get all facilities shown on your website. Everything from the staff to the quality of the food. The first room that was offered to us was very small and smelled of drain sewage - not the best first impression, however, the room was changed immediately on request. the hotel staff the services the comfort this was a bad hotel. The hotel was damp, there were no towels provided in the room and the room itself looked dirty.
